For your Fly-drive  holiday in New Zealand we can offer you a range of option to select from, with vehicals available for rental from some of the worlds leading rental companies, as well as some local New Zealand companies who offer vehicals that may not be as new as the larger companies but will be as reliable, and offer lower prices?

You can select an itinerary from one of the  nine pre-planned tours that we offer in the Fixed Flydrive Itineraries  section of this site, or you can just hire the car and do your own thing, booking accommodation as you go, althought we would recommend that you pre-book the first couple of nights accommodations of your arrival so that you can get your bearings and some rest after your long journey before you set off on your New Zealand adventure. Or you can hire a Camper Vehical and take your bed with you giving you total independence.   

One point of note, if you are planning a self drive car itinerary that takes in both the North and South islands, currently the Car rental companies do not permitted their vehicals to be taken on the ferry between the islands, so you will have to return your car at your last point of call and take the ferry or a flight  to your first point of call on the other island where you collect another car to complete your itinerary.

This does not apply to Camper hires, as the Camper companies currently allow their vehicals  to be taken on the ferry between Wellington and Picton.
