This amazing event, a Total Solar Eclipse, will take place on 11th July 2010, and will cover a huge swath of the South Pacific Ocean. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of land in this area, so the opportunies to witness this rare event are few and far between, and transport and accommodation are in high demand.

The totality will start to south-west of the Cook Islands, traveling onwards toward French Polynesia.  It will pass just south of Tahiti, and over many of the beautiful atolls of the Southern Tuamotus, including one of the largest, Hao, where our special tour will be based.
