Hiring a Camper Van is a very popular way of exploring New Zealand as it gives you total independence, New Zealand is an ideal location for camper holidays with it's well maintainted un-congested roads and stunning scenic beauty. There are many camping sites at which to park overnight, plus there are many lay-bys that can be used on the open road, and as New Zealand is a very safe country, this is a viable and exciting option, and Campers and their occupants are very welcome everywhere they go in New Zealand so finding a place to park-up is never a problem.

All the campers offered by our partner Camper Companies are very well equipt and will provide you with a great mobil home for home in which to go exploring, however when selecting a camper, we would recommend that you go for a larger vehical than you actually need to accommodated the size of the party travelling, for although it will be more money, the extra space will really make the difference when your on the road, it will not feel so cluttered with your luggage etc, and you will not have to making the bed up every night?

Although having your mobile bed allowing you to sleep anywhere is a wounderful thing, if you are hiring the camper for more than 10 days, we would recommend that you consider staying the odd night in a hotel or guest house at some point, for as good as the beds are in the campers, they can get a little cramped after a while!  And it is nice to have a leisurely soak in a bath occasionally.
