The friendly Lake Tekapo Scenic Resort is located in the small village on the shores of Lake Tekapo, and has stunning views of the lake and the surrounding mountains up to nearby Mount Cook.
The motel-style property offers a range of rooms, from studio rooms with a double and single bed, to family suites with a queen bed and 1 or 2 single beds, or a single sofabed. Rooms have electric blankets and heating for cooler winter nights, ceiling fans for warm summer days, TV with Sky freeview and video channels, ensuite bathrooms, with bath and shower (except upstairs and disabled studios - shower only), mini-fridge with juice and snack bars, tea and coffee making facilities (some rooms), wireless broadband internet access, safety deposit boxes and private balcony or deck with lovely views. The family units also have a separate bedroom and separate living room with dining table and chairs, kitchenette area and sitting area with great views from the large picture windows.
The Lake Tekapo Scenic Resort does not have its own dining facilities, but the property is in the village centre and is close to many restaurants and shops. Right next door to the Resort is the Reflections Restaurant, which can offer guest hearty breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. The property also offers guest car parking, computor with internet access, fax facilities, baby furniture and bedding, laundry facilities and assistance with bookings for activites and excursions in the area.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand, operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air offer daily flights from Heathrow to Auckland via Seoul.
Singapore Airlines offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
