Lake Brunner is located in the north west of the South Island, it is one of the largest lakes in New Zealand covering an area of 40 square kilometers, and is an area of outstanding natural beauty, it's great for walking and fishing, and for just relaxing.

The lake is 20 miles (31 kms) south west of Greymouth and 32 miles (50 kms) west of Arthur's Pass along one of the routes to Greymouth
