The Copthorne Lakefront Hotel, Queenstown, is a year round resort, located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and within walking distance of Queenstown central shopping and entertainment area.
The Hotel has 241 standard and superior guest rooms including 5 suites. All rooms were fully renovated in 2008 and are decorated in creams and warm autumn tones, or creams with soft blues.
Standard rooms offer 1 king or 2 double beds, ensuite bathroom with hairdryer, TV with freeview channels, fridge and minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone and iron and ironing board. Rooms have large picture windows with views of the landscaped gardens, Lake Wakatipu or The Remarkables mountain range, and some rooms have a balcony to enjoy the stunning views.
Suites offer a kingsize bed in a separate bedroom, separate lounge area with double sofabed, spa bath, complimentary bathrobes and slippers in the ensuite bathroom and small kitchenette area with fridge, minibar and microwave.
Dining at the hotel is at the Lakefront Restaurant and Bar, where fresh New Zealand produce is used to provide a varied menu, set against spectacular views of the Lake and the surrounding mountains.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand, operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air offer daily flights from Heathrow to Auckland via Seoul.
Singapore Airlines offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
