The Punakaiki Resort is a modern hotel located on Punakaiki Beach, near the world famous Pancake Rocks and Blow Holes on the South Island's West Coast

There are two styles of accommodation on offer: Standard Resort Rooms and luxury Eco-Suites. All rooms are architecturally designed to maintain a sense of privacy and maximise the incredible ocean and rainforest views.

Standard Queen Rooms offer 2 Queen beds or 1 Queen and 1 Single, ensuite bathroom with hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries, Sky TV, Wi-Fi internet access, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, radio/alarm clock and some rooms have opening doors to a private balcony or a courtyard.  A selection of Standard rooms are interconnecting, making them ideal for families and groups.

Eco-Suites are 30% larger than the Standard Resort Rooms and have ocean and/or rainforest views. The suites have been designed and built to have minimal impact on the environment, utilizing organically grown timbers and commercial materials with little or no toxins. Large solar panels provide power to heat the water as well as under floor heating, along with ecofleece insulation in the wall cavities and thermocell panels in the ceiling to promote energy efficiency. The suites were designed and built around the larger native trees and smaller plants were relocated to other areas of the resort. Each suite features 1 King bed, ensuite bathroom with hairdryer, complimentary Evolu Toiletries and waffle bathrobes, SKY TV, Wi-Fi internet access, deluxe mini bar, tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, radio alarm clock and private balcony to enjoy the views.

The Club Bar and Restaurant at Punakaiki Resort provides the perfect setting to relax in front of a cozy log fire, or on the beachfront balcony and enjoy the spectacular scenery of Punakaiki Beach.
