The White Morph Motor Inn is a very nice hotel, located in a quiet area in the heart of Kaikoura, right on the waterfront with beautiful views.
The term 'Motor Inn' is possible doing this very lovely property a disservice, as it does not truly project the hospitality, experience and the quality of accommodations at this really lovely hotel.
Built and decorated to a very high standard, the property offers 3 grades of rooms; Standard Garden Studios, Deluxe Studios and Premium Spa Studios, plus a 2-bed Family Apartment.
Standard Garden Studios offer 1 Queen or 2 Twin beds, ensuite bathroom with shower, small kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities, TV, telephone, air conditioning, heating, sitting area and large windows with views of the gardens. Deluxe Studios offer the same facilities as the Standard, but are slightly larger, and offer 1 King or 2 Queen beds, larger bathroom with bath/shower and have partial views of the sea.
Premium Spa Studios are large and spacious and offer the same facilities as Standard Studios, with the addition of a relaxing spa bath and shower, larger kitchenette with stove top, and beautiful sea views from your private balcony or patio. The Luxury Spa Apartments are almost the same as the Studios, but are larger and more spacious.
There is also a 2-Bedroom Family Apartment, which offers the same amenities as the Standard Studio, but are 3 times the size, with 2 separate bedrooms, each with 1 Queen and 1 Single bed, a separate lounge and dining area, well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, sink and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Kaikoura White Morph Restaurant and Bar offers a gourmet menu featuring fresh fish, their famous, huge fresh crayfish, fresh local vegatables and delicious 'Pacific rim' cuisine, complimented with a selection of local wines. The elegant dining room, which is popular with guests and locals alike, has commanding views of the ocean and the mountains beyond.
This property provides guests with an on-site laundry, room service and landscaped gardens with Barbecue area.
The White Morph Motor Inn is a good quality hotel in a great location, and is an excellent property for exploring the surrounding area.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand: Operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air: Offer daily flights to Auckland via Seoul from Heathrow.
Singapore Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways: Offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas: Offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
