Defining a new style of accommodation in the Ohakune Ruapehu region, Manuka Lodge offers a first-rate alternative to a hotel, with many of the trappings of a Luxury Lodge.
Constructed in 2008, the purpose-built 2-storey Manuka Lodge sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with a quiet, rural ambiance, but is only a short walk to the town centre and its shops and restaurant.
The Lodge has 4 Guest rooms, two up and two downstairs, all offering a King or Queen bed with electric blanket, ensuite bathroom with heated towel rail, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries, mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, TV with freeviews channels, radio alarm clock and central heating.
Breakfast is served in the spacious dining rooms, and offers fresh-brewed coffee and tea, home-baked breads and freshly cooked hot breakfast.
In the winter, the guests are woken to the sound of bellbirds and tuis. Outside, it may be a bright, cold, crisp morning with frost on the ground, but inside, you are beautifully warm and cosy because the modern underfloor and central heating started warming up the lodge an hour before dawn. For winter sports, the Lodge is close to many popular ski fields, and has a purpose-built drying room, for ski, hiking or fishing equipment
During the summer months, the Manuka Lodge is a great location to be based while you explore all that the Tongariro National Park has to offer.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand: Operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air: Offer daily flights to Auckland via Seoul from Heathrow.
Singapore Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways: Offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas: Offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
