The new Rydges Wellington
Hotel is centrally located in downtown Wellington, on
Featherston Street, close to Custom Quay, Westpac Stadium, Victoria
University and Wellington Railway Station and with a great harbour
view.
The Rydges Wellington Hotel has 261 modern, spacious
accommodation rooms, all with kitchenettes and 19 suites with full
kitchens. Room catagories are Superior Rooms, Deluxe Balcony
Rooms, Deluxe Harbourview Rooms, Superior King Suite, Deluxe King
Suite and Executive King suite. Rooms and Suites feature
1 King or 2 Double beds, with rollaway beds available for some
rooms and the Suites additionally offering a double sleeper
sofa in the separate lounge, a well equipped kitchenette
or full kitchen, ensuite bathroom with hairdryer and complimentary
toiletries, Satelite TV, on-demand movies, in-room safe, minibar
and high-speed internet access (fee). The Suites offer
separate bedroom and separate living and dining/kitchen area for
extra space.
Dining at the Rydges Wellington Hotel is available at the retro-chic Plates Restaurant and Bar, which offers a varied menu selection including fresh local vegetables, poultry and steaks, an extensive breakfast buffet and classic cocktails, wines and drinks from the Bar.
The Rydges Hotel Wellington features leisure centre facilities including 17 metre lap pool, spa pool, sauna and exercise room, and the attractions and facilities of the downtown area are all close by.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand: Operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air: Offer daily flights to Auckland via Seoul from Heathrow.
Singapore Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways: Offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas: Offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
