Executive and Executive Deluxe Rooms offer the same facilities as the Classic Rooms, with the addition of being on higher floors with harbour views or spa baths, a garment press, complimentary Wi-Fi internet access and superior bathroom amenities.  Club Rooms provide access to the Club Lounge, which offers many complimentary amenities, such as continental breakfast, lunch and dinner snacks, selected drinks, daily newspaper, separate check-in area, daily evening cocktail hour, and complimentary meeting room use.

Executive Club Suites, with access to the Club Lounge and all its complimentary facilities, feature the same facilities as the Deluxe and Superior Rooms, with the addition of a separate bedroom with King size beds, ensuite bathrooms with luxury amenities and spa bath with separate showers, and  separate living room with sofa-bed, table and chairs.

Dining at the Intercontinental Wellington offers a good selection of fresh, contemporary cuisine for breakfast and dinner at the Chameleon Restaurant, and fine range of wines, cocktails and drinks from the Bar.  Adjacent to the hotel is the Arizona Restaurant, which offers and American Tex-Mex themed menu with a New Zealand twist, featuring everything from prime steaks and burgers, to salads, fish and pizzas.  The Lobby Lounge is a relaxing spot to enjoy an extensive range of teas and coffees, and a selection of light meals all day.
