Located on one of Wellington's best streets, Oriental Parade, overlooking the beautiful inner harbour, and only a few minutes walk to the bustling city centre, the Copthorne Hotel Oriental Bay offers modern, contemporary accommodation decorated in colours that capture the natural beauty of the water and surrounding scenery.
Standard Guest Rooms offer 1 Double and 1 Single bed, an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, hairdryer and complimetary toiletries, air conditioning, LCD TV with Sky satelite channels, high speed internet access and modem points (fee), fridge and minibar (fee), telephone, radio/alarm clock, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and opening windows to enjoy the view of the harbour or the city skyline. Superior Rooms offer upgraded furnishings and are slightly larger than the Standard Guest Rooms and have views over the harbour. Family Rooms offer even more space and luxurious amenities, and also 1 King bed with either 1 Double or 2 Single beds in a small separate bedroom, with prime harbour views.
They also offer a 1-bedroom Suite, which offers a separate bedroom with a King bed, spa bath and walk-in shower, separate lounge with sofa and chairs, dining table and chairs, in-room safe and small kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave.
Dining at the Copthorne Hotel Oriental Bay is an elegant affair, The award-winning One80° Restaurant has an a la carte and Tapas menu, using local produce, seasonal ingredients, and features a wide choice of meats, fresh fish and vegetables, offering New Zealand contemporary cuisine with Pacific/Oriental influences. Being located on the 7th floor, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views of the city and the harbour whilst you dine.
The One80° Cocktail Lounge, also on the 7th Floor, offers the same stunning views, a tasty, light meal menu and wide selection of local and international wines, beers and spirits, as well as a fun range of tasty cocktails.
The hotel also offers 24 hour room service, a small heated indoor pool, concierge service, business centre services, car parking ($20 per night), laundry facilities, currency exchange, a business centre & a tours and excursions desk. They don't have their own fitness room, but they have an arrangement with the Fryberg Fitness Centre, just 400 metres from the hotel, which is available to hotel guests, at no charge.
The Copthorne Hotel Oriental Bay is a modern hotel, in a great location and would be a good choice for a short or long stay in Wellington.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand: Operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air: Offer daily flights to Auckland via Seoul from Heathrow.
Singapore Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways: Offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas: Offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
