The pretty Fare Pea Iti is a small, pension-style property set on the north shore of Tahaa island, and has just 6 detached bungalows with garden beach or water views. Set on the edge of the water, the property is a short distance from the main coast road and the villages of Iripau and Patio on the north coastline, where services, shops and cafes can be found
The 6 accommodation bungalows are built using local and natural products, such as smooth pebbles for bathroom floors and walls, local wood, woven wall and ceiling panels and pandanus-thatched roofs. The Standard Garden Room offers an ensuite shower room with walk-in shower, vanity, separate toilet and hairdryer, and a spacious main room with Queen bed, mini fridge, TV and patio doors opening to a covered, furnished deck with views of the landscaped gardens and the pool deck. The Traditional Garden Bungalow offers similar amenities to the Garden Room, but is slightly smaller though it is detached and has a small enclosed garden terrace and an in-room safe. They offer 1 Queen bed or 2 singles/twin beds. The Tropical Lagoon View Villa is similar to the Garden Bungalow with the addition of an enclosed courtyard garden and a bathroom that opens onto the courtyard. The front deck has views through the palm trees, to the beach and the sea.
The 3 raised Beach Bungalows are similar to each other, with just a few small differences, and are located along the shoreline facing the beach and the sea. They offer four-poster Queen bed with soft drapes, ensuite bathroom with walk-in and outdoor courtyard shower, hairdryer and separate toilet, lounge area with sofa bed, TV and mini fridge, a partially-enclosed deck with small kitchenette facilities and a romantic table and chairs for 2 overlooking an area of private sandy beach with sun loungers and the main beach beyond. The Luxury Spa Bungalow also has a private covered jacuzzi spa adjacent to the private beach area, with premium loungers, and includes a mobile phone on the local phone network for guests' use.
Guests can get great dining at the restaurant and the Avra Beach Lounge Bar Grill, which serves tropical, continental and international breakfasts, French Polynesian dishes for lunch and dinner, plus beach barbecues, either on the beach at the property or on a deserted motu nearby. The bar serves a selection of popular drinks, cocktails bears and wines with pool and garden views.
For a small property, the Fare Pea Iti offers a wide range of activities for its guests. There is a pool and shaded sundeck with sun loungers and guests can book a Polynesian massage on the beach or in your bungalow. They also have kayaks and bicycles for guests to use, and you can even try something different like archery, sunrise zen/water aerobics or an introduction to Japanese martial arts - not something you would expect in French Polynesia! The lovely beach is sandy and an easy entry into the warm, shallow lagoon, where you can swim and snorkel, wade out to the sand bar, where fish and rays swim around you, book a jetski tour or take a guided private boat trip further out into the lagoon, to fish or snorkel the coral gardens with fresh fruits and drinks included. Child Policy
This property does not accept children under 8 years, and 1 child (up to 12 years) or extra adult guest (over 12 yrs) in each bungalow are charged at £38 per night for an extra bed
Airport Transfers
The property provides round trip airport transfers on request, using their private boat from the airport on Raiatea to the property on Taha'a, taking approximately 45 minutes. Round trip transfers cost £85 per person (min 2 pers). Transfers are available between 7.00am - 5.00pm at this price. Increased charges would apply outside of these times.

Front Desk is only available for check-in/check-out between 7.00am-8.00pm. Guests arriving outside of these times will not be able to check-in, other arrangements will need to be made directly with the property.
Although there are frequent
international flights into Tahiti, French Polynesia's international
gateway to the World, there are limited airports of embarkation to
choose from, with currently only Paris, Los Angeles, Auckland and
Tokyo offering single plane air service to Tahiti.
The international airline for French Polynesia. is
who operate daily flights from Paris and Los Angeles to Tahiti, and
on some days there are additional fights to/from Los Angeles. In
addition, they operate two weekly flights to/from Auckland and they
serve Tokyo twice a week. Their services to New York and
Sydney have been suspended, at this time.
Air France
currently offer a service from Paris, three times a week via Los
Angeles
Air New Zealand
operates daily flights via LA to Papeete, and 5 days a week from/to
Auckland with it's own aircraft. It also operates a codeshare
arrangements with Air Tahiti Nui providing seats on their fights
from Tahiti to Auckland and Los Angeles.
United Airlines operate 3 times
a week from San Francisco to Papeete, on Tuesday, Thursday and
Sunday, which will connect to their daily flight from
Heathrow.
Air Calin
operate a weekly flight between Noumea, in New Caledonia, and
Tahiti.
Hawaiian
Airlines provide a weekly service between Honolulu and
Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
LANChile
operate a flight once a week from Santiago to Tahiti via
Easter Island, providing the availability to do a great side trip
from Tahiti to Easter island.
Air Tahiti is
French Polynesia's domestic airline, which operates an extensive
domestic flight network covering all the country's main islands,
with at least a daily service. With the main Society islands
receiving a number of flights a day, since Air Moorea stopped
operations between Tahiti and Moorea, the flight connections now to
Moorea have become limited, most connections between the two are
now done by ferry boat.
The less populated and outer islands have a restricted service, so
sometimes a night stop in Tahiti may be required when connecting to
these islands.
Air Tahiti
provide the only air service between Tahiti and the Cook islands,
which they currently do once a week on a Thursday, an extra high
season flight is operated between June and August
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for private charters, but they all tend to be based in Tahiti so arranging charters between the outer islands can be expensive as the aircraft will originate and terminate in Tahiti. Tahiti Nui Helicopters are one such company that operate resort transfers (where helipad available), inter-island flights and sightseeing trips. Contact us for further info.

Pricing Policy
Prices are based on a per person, per night, room only basis for single or double occupancy.
The Lodge offers Stay 3 Pay 2 offers for Honeymoons and big Wedding Anniversaries, or for guests over 60 years, in bungalow room categories. Other discounts and special offers may be available. Please contact us to check your specific dates.
Breakfast is charged at approx £20 per person per day.
