The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa is located on a white sand beach between Moorea's two historic bays, Opunohu Bay and Cooks Bay.
The Resort finished a $12m renovation and improvement programme just a few years ago, where all bungalows were completely refurbished and had new furniture and fixtures. Also, all the Garden Bungalows have had a private pool and terrace area added, as well as building 2 new Garden Pool Suites, which are approximately double the size of the bungalows, with a separate bedroom and living room. Also, they completely retiled the pool and refurbished the pool deck area, with new showers, upgraded pool restrooms, a new jacuzzi and refurbished Activities hut, where guests can obtain beach towels and snorkelling equipment. And January 2019 saw a further refurbishment of the pool and terrace, The Rotui Bar and Grill, the Spa and the last of the Garden Bungalows, and in 2020-2021, they did further refurbishments, including re-thatching the overwater bungalows, whilst the resort was closed during the COVID lockdown.
The resort now offers 5 types of accommodation, comprising of the Garden Pool Bungalows, the new Deluxe Garden Pool Bungalows, Garden Pool Suites, Lagoon Beach Bungalows and Overwater Bungalows. The bungalows offer either 1 King size or 2 twin beds with pillow-top mattress, en-suite bathroom with separate bath and shower, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and hairdryer, air conditioning, sitting area with sofa/daybed, 37" flat screen TV with cable channels, IDD telephone, mini-bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, alarm clockradio, iPod docking station, DVD/CD player, high speed Wi-Fi internet access, and sliding doors opening out to your private deck, terrace or balcony. Garden Pool Bungalows have a spacious sundeck around your private plunge pool. Lagoon Bungalows are located right on the beach, with your balcony out over the water with steps into the Lagoon. The Garden Pool Suites offer a separate bedroom and living area both opening out onto the enclosed private sundeck with private pool and covered dining area, and Overwater Bungalows have glass floor panels, private sundeck and stairs directly into the water.
The Hilton Moorea Lagoon has a selection of dining options, depending on your mood. The Arii Vahine Restaurant offers a selection of Polynesian and International style dishes for breakfast and dinner, including buffets, a la carte menus, themed menus and a Polynesian Fire Dance show with a varied menu to suite all tastes, all served with stunning sea views. The Eimeo Bar offers a wide selection of popular drinks and cocktails for you to enjoy, either inside or out on the terrace, and watch the amazing sunsets. The Rotui Gril & Bar is located near the pool on the beachfront, and offers light meals and snacks, with salads, sandwiches, pizzas and desserts, and a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. The Toatea Bar is found out over the water on the main jetty, and offers light meals and snacks, and has a mouthwatering array of freshly cooked crepes to enjoy. If you want a romantic dining option, they can also arrange private dining locations, such as on the beach under the stars, for a really special dining experience.
For the energetic, there are plenty of water activities to enjoy, such as snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaks, boat trips, jet skis, the large free-form pool, as well as a lovely beach area to relax on. The Moorea Lagoon Spa offers many beauty treatments and relaxing massages to indulge in, and some afternoons, there are traditional, cultural activities to experience, from flower lei making, to canoe racing! The Fitness Centre has resistance machines and free weights if you wish to use them, and there is a tennis court to practice your serve.
Nearby, there are a number of different tours and excursions to experience, such as horseback riding, full or half day guided hiking, sunset cruise, ray and shark feeding, dolphin and whale watching, island safaris, helicopter tours, bike rental and ATV quad bike tours. Plenty to keep you busy!
The Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort is in a great location on the north shore of Moorea, almost equidistance between Cook's Bay and Opunonu Bay, and just off the coast road, giving easy access to all the little villages and hamlets around the coastline.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome and well catered for. Children 15 years old and under stay FREE when they share the room with accompanying adults and use the existing beds.
A children's menu and high chairs are available in the restaurants, as well as a babysitting service, children's activities and children's movie rentals.

Round trip airport transfers are £50 per person.

Although there are frequent
international flights into Tahiti, French Polynesia's international
gateway to the World, there are limited airports of embarkation to
choose from, with currently only Paris, Los Angeles, Auckland and
Tokyo offering single plane air service to Tahiti.
The international airline for French Polynesia. is Air Tahiti
Nui, who operate daily flights from Paris and Los
Angeles to Tahiti, and on some days there are additional fights
to/from Los Angeles. In addition, they operate two weekly flights
to/from Auckland and they serve Tokyo twice a week. Their services
to New York and Sydney have been suspended, at this
time.
Air France
currently offer a service from Paris, three times a week via Los
Angeles
Air New Zealand
operates daily flights via LA to Papeete, and 5 days a week from/to
Auckland with it's own aircraft. It also operates a codeshare
arrangements with Air Tahiti Nui providing seats on their fights
from Tahiti to Auckland and Los Angeles.
United Airlines operate 3 times
a week from San Francisco to Papeete, on Tuesday, Thursday and
Sunday, which will connect to their daily flight from
Heathrow.
Air Calin
operate a weekly flight between Noumea, in New Caledonia, and
Tahiti.
Hawaiian
Airlines provide a weekly service between Honolulu and
Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
LANChile
operate a flight once a week from Santiago to Tahiti via
Easter Island, providing the availability to do a great side trip
from Tahiti to Easter island.
Air Tahiti is
French Polynesia's domestic airline, which operates an extensive
domestic flight network covering all the country's main islands,
with at least a daily service. With the main Society islands
receiving a number of flights a day, since Air Moorea stopped
operations between Tahiti and Moorea, the flight connections now to
Moorea have become limited, most connections between the two are
now done by ferry boat.
The less populated and outer islands have a restricted service, so
sometimes a night stop in Tahiti may be required when connecting to
these islands.
Air Tahiti
provide the only air service between Tahiti and the Cook islands,
which they currently do once a week on a Thursday, an extra high
season flight is operated between June and August
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for private charters, but they all tend to be based in Tahiti so arranging charters between the outer islands can be expensive as the aircraft will originate and terminate in Tahiti. Tahiti Nui Helicopters are one such company that operate resort transfers (where helipad available), inter-island flights and sightseeing trips. Contact us for further info.

There is a daily Communal Tax in Moorea, which is paid directly to the hotel upon the guests' departure. This is currently 200 XPF (Pacific Francs - roughly EUR1.70/£1.60) which is per person, per day.
