Located on 2 gorgeous miles of white sand beaches overlooking the picturesque Beqa Lagoon on the Coral Coast, the elegant Nanuku Resort and Spa is Fiji's newest 5 star Villa and Suite Resort.

The Resort was bought in 2013 and a lot of hard work and money has been spent by the new owners gutting, refitting and upgrading the original villas, building a brand new Club House complex with an infinity pool, 2 bars, a gourmet restaurant, the Lomana Wellness Spa and Gym and the main reception area, all set in beautifully landscaping the tropical gardens.

The Coral Coast is about 2 hours south of Nadi and the airport by road, but Nanuku Resort have their own private airfield, so if you wish, you can transfer by air in around 25 minutes.

The Resort's somewhat unique luxury accommodation is offered in a selection of individual, connected and Duplex Suites, Villas, Beachfront Residences and the unique cliff-top Vunikau Residence, all built using uses Fijian hardwoods, for floors, furniture and the building itself, thatched roofs, and natural stone touches.  Bedrooms and living rooms are of a generous size with quality furnishings and furnished balcony or patios, with views of the gardens or the beach. Bathrooms are spacious, modern and luxuriously equipped, with jacuzzi baths, walk-in showers and contemporary vanities, with ground floor rooms having a private outdoor courtyard shower.  Many have private pools or plunge pools, as well as the main resort pool available to everyone.

Each Beachfront Residence is a 2-villa complex, with a 2-bed Grand Villa and a 1 or 2 bedroom Duplex Villa. The 1-bedroom Duplex Suites are accessed by a covered walkway from the main Beachfront Residence entrance, and they have an upstairs and a downstairs King bed suite, both with separate keys and entrances.  They each have a spacious, modern ensuite bathroom with separate toilet, walk-in shower and jacuzzi bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans and a living room with LCD TV, DVD and iPod dock and 2 daybeds, that can be used as extra bedding. The upper Suite has sliding doors opening onto a private verandah with dining furniture and great views. The ground floor suite opens on to a private patio with dining furniture, the pool, and views to the beach.

The Grand Villa is accessed from the same covered walkway as the Duplex Suites and contains an entrance foyer, an upstairs ensuite bedroom with 4-poster King size bed, an ensuite bathroom with spa bath, walk-in shower and separate toilet and a sitting area with daybeds, a full kitchen, dining room, media room, and a large living room that opens on to a patio and the infinity pool. The 2nd bedroom is in a separate pavillion, just in front of the main building, next to the pool, and with a private walled courtyard garden with outdoor shower, ensuite bathroom and double aspect sliding doors opening to its own deck area and the beach.

The Duplex Suites and the Grand Villa are available together or individually.  At any one time, each complex will only ever accommodate 2 private parties at one time, one party in a suite, the other in the main villa, to ensure privacy.

The 1-bed or 2-bed Villas offer 2 storey villas, similar to the suites, with suites on both floors that can be reserved together or independantly.  There is also a 3-bed Beachfront Villa and by combining Villas and Suites, you can book 4-bed beachfront accommodation, ideal for families or friends groups.

They also have a separate 6-bedroom private treetops Owner's residence, named Vunikau (meaning Treehouse), that is located on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea with breathtaking sea, sunrise and sunset views from every room or the wraparound decks, but still just a short stroll to the beach.  The Vunikai Residence has 6 separate suites with 5 king bed and 2 twin beds.  2 of the Master Suites have their own plunge pools, plus another private pool on the deck.  The Vunikau Residence can accommodate from 2 up to 12 guests, and can be booked as a 3, 4 or 6-bed property, and some of the bedroom suites have their own private entrances.  This Villa is great for entertaining, romantic getaways or very special holidays, with personal 24hr butler service, personal chef,  and complimentary flight transfer from Nadi airport to Nanuku airstrip

The newly-built Club House in the centre of the resort, is the hub of activity, with a central entrance path, with the pleasant bar and restaurant either side, both with inside and shaded outside seating.  Outside, the infinity pool with ocean and beach views is the pride of the resort and pool bar supplies a selection of cold drinks and cocktails to enjoy on the terrace or lounge chairs.  There is also a fitness centre, cultural heritage centre and a well equipped and very relaxing spa.

There is a gourmet restaurant on site with a varied, daily-changing menu that offers a blend of local flavours with Pacific, European, Chinese and Indian influences.  Alternatively, if in a villa, you can self cater, or for that real touch of luxury,  you can have your own chef cook for you in your villa, or private dining in a special locations, such as on the beach.   They can also prepare picnic and gourmet lunches for private island trips (they have their own private island!) waterfall trips or other excursions.

The Lomana Spa and Wellness Centre offers a range of massage and beauty treatments, where you can indulge, pamper or just relax.  The state-of-the-art fitness centre has a range of resistance machines and equipment and a fitness instructor on hand to guide you.

Nanuku Resort is located in the area of Fiji aptly called 'The Adventure Capital of Fiji.'
