The Hilton Garden Inn, formally the Hollywood Heights Hotel, is a boutique hotel adjacent to the Hollywood Hills and close to some of the city's most famous attractions, such as the Hollywood Entertainment Museum, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Hollywood Boulevard, the Hollywood Bowl, Kodak Theatre, Disneyland, and Grauman's chinese Theatre.  The hotel is also only 2 miles (3.5km) from the bustling Sunset Strip, 4 miles (6km) from Beverly Hills and 16 miles (24km) to Los Angeles International Airport.

 

The hotel changed hands in 2008, and had a complete refurbishment and renovation.  The public areas were upgraded with a more upmarket design, and the guest rooms were upgraded and given a classic design, with clean lines, contemporary furnishings and vintage movie theme wall art, to rekindle the glory days of old Hollywood glamour.  It was then bought by the Hilton Group in March 2012, when it also changed its name, and a further redecoration and refurbishment was completed.

Dining at the Hilton Garden Inn gives you a few options.  The Great American Grill offers a freshly prepared breakfast daily, and lunch and dinner menus of classic American dishes and comfort food.  The Garden Grille also offers a tasty breakfast and dinner menu, and the Pavillion Lounge serves drinks from their full bar in the modern lounge. The 24 hour Pavillion Pantry convenience store offers an assortment of beverages, coffees and snacks, including ready-made meals for you to pop into your microwave.  If you want to eat out, the choice is almost endless. There are many restaurants, bars and clubs with in walking distance, and many hundreds more just a short taxi or bus ride away.

 

They also offer a wide range of amenities for the leisure and business traveller, including a guest laundry and laundry service, a business centre with computors, fax, printers, copying and secretarial services, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, 24 hour reception, concierge service, valet parking (fee), fitness room and a lovely outdoor pool with jacuzzi spa, and large sundeck with sun loungers, tables and chairs with shady umbrellas.

 

The Hilton Garden Inn, Hollywood is in a great location and offers good value in the somewhat pricey Hollywood area of Los Angeles.  It is close to many popular attractions and is an ideal property for a short stopover or a longer LA stay.
