On the southern shore of Oahu, next to the Beach Walk shopping area and just a short walk from the famous Waikiki Beach, is the Embassy Suites Waikiki.
An all-suite hotel, with 369 rooms, as 1- and 2-bedroom suites, the Embassy Suites is and ideal property for those wanting a bit of independence or families requiring more space than a standard hotel room. They also have the added advantage of having a kitchenette and dining area, separate living room, ensuite bathroom and private balcony.
Each Suite has 1 King or 2 Queen beds per bedroom, Ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, separate living room with sofa bed, high speed internet access, 37" TV with pay-per-view Movies and games, telephone, dining table and chairs, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink, air conditioning, in-room safe and private lanais (balcony) in most units.
2-bedroom units have 2 separate bedrooms with the living/dining room in between, 2 ensuite bathrooms and 2 separate entrance doors.
The Embassy Suites offer a complimentary hot and cold buffet breakfast each morning and a Manager's Reception, from 5.30 to 7.30pm, with complimentary drinks, snacks and Hawaiian entertainment each evening.
As the hotel is located right next to the famous Beach Walk shopping and dining area, with numerous shops, restaurants and cafes to spoil you for choice, the hotel doesn't open its own restaurant for full service meals, but room service and pool bar meals and snacks are available. Room service offers a good selection, including chef Specials, from 11am to 10pm.
There is a large, heated, outdoor pool on the Grand Lanai, which is 4 storeys up, and offers lovely panoramic views across the city and the beach. The Lanai offers a large sundeck area with sun loungers, children's pool, whirlpool spa, covered pavillion seating, umbrella-shaded tables, and the Pakini Pool Bar, open 12.00pm - 5.00pm, offering sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks. There is also complimentary yoga classes held on the Lanai, every Tuesday and friday mornings from 7.00-8.00am.
The Embassy Suites is ideally located just 1 block from Waikiki Beach, and right next door the the famous Beach Walk shopping and dining area. Nearby there is the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, several golf courses, horse riding, theatres and concerts, and many water and outdoor recreational activites to keep you busy.

Children of all ages are welcome, and children under 18 years stay FREE when staying with accompanying parents and using existing beds.
Airport Transfers
The Hotel is about 10 miles from Honolulu International Airport, and is approximately a 20 minute drive.
Private Round Trip airport transfers available on request.
There is a public Waikiki/Airport Shuttle service available for approximately $12 per person each way, and taxis are readily available and would cost approximately $50-60 each way.
Valet Parking is available for hire cars, at a charge of $30.

Currently, there are no non-stop flights from the UK to the Hawaiian Islands, mainly due to the distance from the UK. The most convenient way of getting there is via a connection at an American or Canadian city, and the following is a list of the Airlines that offer through service to the islands and the routes they operate.
Air Canada: Offer daily connecting flights to Honolulu from Heathrow via Toronto or Vancouver
United Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Heathrow via Newark, Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco to Honolulu (Oahu), Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Chicago and Denver to Honolulu
American Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Dallas to Honolulu and Maui
Alaska Airlines: Offer daily flights from Anchorage, Seattle and Portland to Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii Big Island and Kauai, which can be used in conjunction with other airlines from the UK
Delta Airlines: Currently, no Delta flights from the UK make a same day connection to their Hawaiian flights, so an overnight stay will be required. However, they can offer a same day connection by using Virgin Atlantic's flight from Heathrow to LA, They offer non-stop flights to Honolulu (Oahu) from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit and Salt Lake City, and to Maui from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City
Hawaiian Airlines: They provide a large range of flights from cities in the American West to Honolulu and Maui. Their flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, Portland and Phoenix can be used in connection with other carriers flights from the UK. They also provide a weekly service between Honolulu and Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
Korean Air:
Offer a very competitive price for flights to Honolulu from
Heathrow via Seoul in South Korea, but it is the long way
around.
Domestic Flights around the Islands
There are currently three domestic airlines operating in Hawaii; Aloha Island Air, Hawaiian Airlines and Go!. They operate an extensive domestic flight network covering all the islands, with frequent and regular departures operating between 6am and 9 pm
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for
private charters throughout Hawaii, so arranging charters between
the main and/or outer islands is very easy. At this time, there are
no seaplanes available for chartering in the Hawaiian chain, which
is a little disappointing for flying boat fans!

Prices are based on a per room, per night, bed & breakfast basis for single or double occupancy. Children under 17yrs stay Free when sharing with existing bedding, up to maximum occupancy. Extra Adult rate is £40 per night.
