Experience a 12 hour tour (approx) completely around the Big Island taking in some of the most famous sights and some interesting attractions.

Your driver will pick you up at your hotel door between 6.00am and 7.00am, (time will be confirmed nearer the time and will depend on your particular hotels' location) so an early breakfast is a must, to set yourself up for the busy day ahead!  Your chariot for the day will be a 'big window' minibus, designed with large side windows to offer great views, or a deluxe motorcoach.  The vehicle used will depend on how many people are booked on the tour on that particular day.

Firstly, you will visit the Volcanos National Park, where Mother Nature is forging new land from the depths of the earth.  You will get to see the Kilauea Iki crater, steam bluffs, and walk through the fern tree jungle and the Thurston Lava tube.  Browse the exhibits and view the amazing films of volcanic eruptions at the Jaggar Museum.

Then you move on to the town of Hilo, where you have your choice of the resaurants and bars for some lunch and refreshments.  You will stop at a Kona coffee plantation, an orchid and anthurium nursery, then move on to a tour around Big Island Candies, where you get to sample free Kona coffee and their macadamia nut cookies and sweets.

Along your journey, you will pass some of the stunning scenery the island has to show off, including the south coast area, Kealakekua Bay, the enormous Parker Ranch, areas of lush, green forest and the many waterfalls that adorn the coastal roads.

Don't forget your camera, sturdy but comfortable walking shoes, a bottle of water and a light jacket, as the Volcanos National Park can be several degrees cooler than elsewhere on the island, and can also be wetter.
