The Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort is the only deluxe resort on Tikehau atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago, which is a fifty minute flight northeast of Tahiti. The resort has been designed to offer the blend of an exclusive hideaway with elegant informality and warm Polynesian hospitality.
Built on the corner of an inlet with its secluded palm fringed white sand beach, The Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort offers stunning views of both the open ocean and the tranquil lagoon. The resort offers 37 rooms in four types of accommodation, with 13 Beach bungalows, 8 standard Overwater bungalows , 7 Premium Overwater bungalows, 8 Overwater suites and 1 luxurious Pool Beach Villa. They are built of local materials to a traditional Polynesian style, they are larger than many of the bungalows that are found at other resorts, with a floor area of 592 sqft for the Beach bungalows and the Overwater bungalows, with the Overwater Suites being almost twice this size, at 1001 sqft.
The Bungalows and Suites offer 1 King or 2 Twin beds plus 1 single bed, ceiling fan and/or air conditioning, ensuite shower room (outdoor private courtyard access in the Beach Bungalows), hairdryer, in-room safe, mini-fridge with mini-bar, work desk and chair, telephone, TV with satelite channels, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and a private furnished sundeck, all with gorgeous views. The Beach Bungalows have an indoor/outdoor bathroom with access into a private walled courtyard, and are located amongst the shady palm trees right on the beach. The Overwater Bungalows are the closest to the beach and the Premium Overwaters are towards the end of the pontoon, further out in the lagoon. The Premium Overwaters have direct access to the water from their private deck. The huge Overwater Suites are right at the end of the pontoon with uninterrupted views over the lagoon and direct access to the water, as well as being more luxuriously furnished. All the Overwater bungalows and suites also have glass floor panels through which to view aquatic life below you.
The spacious and luxurious Pool Beach Villa is located at a quiet corner of the resort, overlooking a secluded beach, and offers a separate bedroom and living room/2nd bedroom (with sofabed), divided by a walk-through entrance lobby, modern ensuite indoor/outdoor courtyard bathroom with modern vanity, garden shower, bathrobes and hairdryer. All sections of the villa open out onto the spacious stepped sundeck, which spans the entire width of the villa, with a covered dining area, sun beds and a private pool, all overlooking the beach and the lagoon. The villa is ideal for families or friends, for a romantic retreat or if you just want to have the extra space and luxury.
The Resort's bar and restaurant are located by the swimming pool, and provide an idyllic location from which to view the surrounding ocean. The Poreho Restaurant has wonderful views over the lagoon, in a lovely open air setting and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with European and Polynesian cuisine using fresh local produce. The Tianoa Bar is between the beach and the infinity pool, and is an ideal spot for a relaxing drink, whilst watching an amazing sunset!
The Tikehau Pearl Beach has a beautiful infinity pool that overlooks the beach, and also offers a badminton court, beach volleyball, kayaks, table tennis, billiards/pool, bocce ball court, and snorkelling equipment, all of which are complimentary for guests. The Resort can also arrange deep sea fishing trips, lagoon fishing, sunset cruises, visits to the lagoonarium, Bird Island, and local villages, bike rental, scuba diving and for a really romantic day, a private picnic on a deserted and secluded islet beach.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are catered for. Children 14 years old and under stay FREE when they share the room with accompanying adults and use the existing beds. Children aged 3 years to 14 years get free transfers and free kids meals when selected from the children's menu, and accompanied by parents in the main restaurant only.
The Resosrt also offers childrens beach toys, child sized snorkelling gear, complimentary sweet on their bed on arrival, kids movies on DVD and colouring books at the restaurant table.
Airport Transfers
Round trip airport transfers are £55 per adult and children 12 years and older, children 11 years and younger travel free of charge.
The transfer is a 20-25 minute journey, with a car trip from the airport to the dock and a private boat ride across the lagoon to the resort.

Although there are frequent
international flights into Tahiti, there are limited airports of
embarkation to choose from, with currently only Paris, Los Angeles,
Auckland and Tokyo offering single plane air service to
Tahiti.
The international airline for French Polynesia. is Air Tahiti
Nui, who operate daily flights from Paris and Los
Angeles to Tahiti, and on some days there are additional fights
to/from Los Angeles. In addition, they operate two weekly flights
to/from Auckland and they serve Tokyo twice a week. Their services
to New York and Sydney have been suspended, at this
time.
Air France
currently offer a service from Paris, three times a week via Los
Angeles
Air New Zealand
operates daily flights via LA to Papeete, and 5 days a week from/to
Auckland with it's own aircraft. It also operates a codeshare
arrangements with Air Tahiti Nui providing seats on their fights
from Tahiti to Auckland and Los Angeles.
United Airlines operate 3 times
a week from San Francisco to Papeete, on Tuesday, Thursday and
Sunday, which will connect to their daily flight from
Heathrow.
Air Calin
operate a weekly flight between Noumea, in New Caledonia, and
Tahiti.
Hawaiian
Airlines provide a weekly service between Honolulu and
Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
LANChile
operate a flight once a week from Santiago to Tahiti via
Easter Island, providing the availability to do a great side trip
from Tahiti to Easter island.
Air Tahiti is
French Polynesia's domestic airline, which operates an extensive
domestic flight network covering all the country's main islands,
with at least a daily service. With the main Society islands
receiving a number of flights a day, since Air Moorea stopped
operations between Tahiti and Moorea, the flight connections now to
Moorea have become limited, most connections between the two are
now done by ferry boat.
The less populated and outer islands have a restricted service, so
sometimes a night stop in Tahiti may be required when connecting to
these islands.
Air Tahiti
provide the only air service between Tahiti and the Cook islands,
which they currently do once a week on a Thursday, an extra high
season flight is operated between June and August
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for private charters, but they all tend to be based in Tahiti so arranging charters between the outer islands can be expensive as the aircraft will originate and terminate in Tahiti.

Pricing Policy
Prices are based on a per room, per night, room only basis for single or double occupancy.
The hotel offers lower rates for honeymooners, these prices are available on request.
The hotel also offers FREE accommodation if you stay 5 nights or more at the Pearl Beach Resort on Bora Bora as part of your stay in French Polynesia, during the period 1st November to 31st March. The free nights available are equal to the number of paid nights at the Bora Bora Resort.
Special offers, including early booking discounts or nightly rate discounts with multiple nights stay may be available at the time of booking. Please check with us for your dates of travel.
