Maui has three main resort areas, they are all on its westcoast, with Wailea on the South Western corner of the island, Kihei which is just north of Wailea and the area known as West Maui which starts at Lahaina and flows north to include Kaanapali, Kahana and Kapalua. We feel that the areas offer three very different experiences.

Come Whale Watching in Maui!
The best location in the islands to see humpback whales is in the channel between Maui, Molokai and Lanai.

Wailea is a very quiet area and offers accommodation mainly in four and five star resorts. Wailea is ideal for those clients who are looking for luxurious and sophisticated surroundings, all the resorts are totally self-contained so you will have no reason to venture out, just relax and spoil yourself while your other half goes off to improve their handicap ? the area has four championship grade golf courses. We do not feature any of the Wailea hotels but we can book any of them, so if Wailea is your choice please call us.

Kihei is an area of mainly moderate grade accommodation offered in self-catering apartments. There are very few hotels, due to the way in which the coastal road was constructed back in the 30?s. Because of the type of accommodation on offer and their locations, we do not recommend this area of the island to our clients as we think it's a long way to go for something not very special.

West Maui, we believe that this area provides the very best that Maui has to offer. With the charm of Lahaina, the original royal capital of Hawaii, with its historic buildings, art galleries and many restaurants. In fact Lahaina is home to some of the finest gourmet restaurants to be found anywhere in America. Its scenic beauty is unrivalled with the spectacular views across the channel to the neighbouring islands of Lanai and Molokai to the breathtaking mountain scenery that forms the backdrop to the area, West Maui has it all. With a full range of accommodation, from two star self-catering to five star deluxe resorts. There is something to fit all requirements and all ages.

The best location in the islands to see humpback whales is in the channel between Maui, Molokai and Lanai.
Annually between late November and April the warm waters of the Hawaiian islands are home for the North Pacific Humpback whales who leave their Alaskan summer feeding grounds for the winter warmth of the Mid Pacific ocean to give birth and breed. The sight of these magnificent mammals in their natural surroundings is one that you will never forget.
