Thought by most who visit to be the ultimate romantic location in the world.

Bora Bora lies  a short 45 minutes flight northwest of Tahiti. The main island is in the centre of a magnificent multi-coloured lagoon, surrounded by a necklace of coral reefs which visitors can explore either by boat trips, snorkeling or scuba diving.

There is only one navigable pass into the lagoon which is just north of Motu Tapu island. If you take a cruise that visits Bora Bora you will experience a truly magnificent arrival. A must is to drive the 18 mile road that circles the island, you will pass through unspoilt, colourful villages steeped in Polynesian history and view the Islanders living a lifestyle that has lasted unchanged for hundreds of years. During the drive you will experience the vista of  beautiful Mount Pahia which dominates the island providing a stunning backdrop to the island's white sand beaches.

The resorts provide traditional Polynesian entertainment at least once during the week but in general there is very little evening entertainment provide the evenings on Bora Bora are for dinning and relaxing, with some of the finest restaurants you will find in the Pacific, catering to most tastes including Chinese and Mexican! But a culinary experience that is a must is the traditional Tahitian Tamaara'a feast which is cooked the ancient way in an underground stone oven.

Sightseeing options vary from a relaxing ride in a glass bottom boat or, the airborne excitement of a helicopter ride, or, the ultimate excursion, feeding the sharks whilst you're in the water with them!! What ever your motivation is for visiting Bora Bora one thing is for sure you will fall in love with this beautiful emerald jewel.
