Eratap Beach Resort is a small, exclusive, luxury resort hidden among 8 acres of landscaped tropical gardens among the coastal forests of Eratap, on Efate Island. Surrounded by pristine reefs, uninhabited islands, and lush tropical foliage, the resort is located just 10 minutes from downtown Port Vila and 20 minutes from Port Vila Harbour and the airport, on a north-west facing peninsula, with the lagoon on one side and the ocean on the other.
There are only 12 private villas, all situated round the peninsula right on the beach, and each having an uninterupted view of the beach and the ocean beyond. There are four standard 1-bed, three 2-bed and one 3-bedroomed villas plus one 1-bed with plunge pool, one 2-bed with plunge pool and 2 romantic Honeymoon Villas, both with plunge pools.
The Villas are all airy and spacious with high ceilings, complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, french doors to private sundecks from both the separate lounge and the bedroom pavillions, air conditioning and ceiling fans. They are tastefully decorated with modern Melanesian and Asian-style furnishings that provide a calm, luxurious, and tropical ambiance. They have ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower and also an outdoor private courtyard shower for a more tropical feel. The 2-bed villas have 2 separate bedroom pavillions, both with separate bathrooms, and a separate lounge, giving space and privacy for families or friends. The 3-bed villa has a central living room and 2 separate bedroom wings, one with a master bedroom and the other with 2 bedrooms and shared bathroom. The villas with plunge pools and the Honeymoon Villas are the same as the standard villas but with the private plunge pool infront of the deck area. The 2 Honeymoon villas are set in a secluded location giving privacy and stunning views.
The open air beachfront restaurant offers a selection of local and international cuisine, using the freshest locally grown organic fruit and vegetables, Vanuatu's famous organic beef, fresh local seafood and lobster, and a wide selection of fine Autralian, New Zealand and French wines to enhance your meal. Your complimentary cooked breakfast is also served here, overlooking the lagoon. Romantic dining can be arranged on your villa deck or beachside lounge pavillion. 3 nights a week, live entertainment is performed, including a Fire Show, a spectacle of fire, music and dance.
There are 3 separate private beaches, a large swimming pool, a Day Spa offering a range of beauty and body treatments and plenty of water activities to really take advantage of this resort's location, including snorkelling, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, surfing and fishing. There are two 5m motor longboats for guests to use free of charge. They come with a driver to take you wherever you wish to go. They are also available for longer periods, for a small fee, for inshore fishing for wahoo, tuna and mahi mahi. Big game fishing can be arranged on a charter boat from Port Vila. There is also a daily complimentary shuttle bus to Port Vila, going out in the morning and returning in the afternoon, to allow plenty of time for shopping or eating out in town.
Eratap Beach Resort is an uncrowded, luxurious resort that exists in harmony with the community, and its surroundings, where you can enjoy the real Vanuatu in absolute comfort in one of the most beautiful and natural settings on the island.
