Situated on the island's south coast in the village of Vaima, the resort is built either side of the quiet coastal road. The reception, restaurant/bar and swimming pool along with 13 Garden Studio and Garden 1-Bed Superior Bungalows are situated in well maintained gardens on the island-side of the road. Across the road, situated right on the beach are 12 large Beachfront Studio Bungalows.
The Garden rooms offer one King bed, shower/WC, a full kitchen, ceiling fan, 32" flat screen TV, radio, telephone and a garden view patio. The 1-Bed Garden Bungalows are slightly larger with a separate bedroom area. The beach bungalows offer a king-sized bed or two single beds, a full kitchen including a microwave, ceiling fan, hairdryer, radio, a 32" flat screen TV, telephone and a patio overlooking the beach.
In addition to the Garden Studios and Beachfront Bungalows, the Palm Grove has two homes for larger parties who wish to stay together. There is a 1-bedroom bungalow, which sleeps up to four, and a 3-bedroom house, which sleeps up to six.
The Palm Grove recently completed a soft refurbishment of their rooms, which included the addition of a 32" flat screen TV, new king-size pillow-top mattresses (regular King mattress not split Kings as previously available), and new small fixtures such as lamps and towel rails.
The Palm Grove happily accepts children of all ages, but does not allow children under 5 years of age in the beach bungalows
The Yellow Hibiscus Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, and has weekly specials and a Sunday Barbecue with steak, fresh salads and desserts.
The hotel offers complementary snorkelling equipment, reef shoes and canoes, and there is a TV lounge if you get 'BOX' withdrawal symptoms. There are also motor bikes and bicycles available for rent by the hour or day so that you can go exploring!
We feel that the Palm Grove offers exceptional value for those clients looking for a beach front location. Its friendly laid back atmosphere compliments the peace and tranquillity of the area and will provide you with a perfect location from which to enjoy all that Rarotonga has to offer.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are catered for, children 5 years old and under stay FREE when they share the room with accompanying adults and use the existing beds. NO children under 5 years old permitted in the Beach front studio rooms.

Currently, there are very limited International flight connections to and from the Cook islands. All international flights operate into Rarotonga and there are no international flights into Aitutaki.
The main carrier is Air New Zealand, with
direct air service provided six days a week from and to
Auckland (currently there is no flight on a Friday from Rarotonga),
and once a week to and from Los Angeles, currently departing
Rarotonga on a Saturday arriving LA on the Sunday. The return
flight leaves LA on Sunday and arrives Rarotonga on Monday
morning.
Pacific Blue, part of the Virgin group, operate
limited service from Auckland
Air Tahiti operate twice weekly flights from
Papeete, Tahiti to Rarotonga, currently on a Saturday and
Tuesday. However, on some weeks they only operate one
flight!
All domestic flights within the Cook islands are
operate by Air Rarotonga. Their main route is
Rarotonga to Aitutaki, on which they operate up to five daily
services, except Sunday, when only one is operated (up till the end
of 2009 no flights were permitted to operate domestically on a
Sunday).
They also provide frequent services to the other main islands in
the Southern group. However, air access to the Northern group
is currently very restricted, to the point where it is almost
impossible for tourists to book flights, due to the limited seats
that are offered. Quite a lot of the time, the
seats are reserved for Government officials and the local residence
of the Northern islands.
Pricing Policy
Prices are based on a per room, per night basis for single or twin occupancy including Tropical Breakfast, and round trip airport transfers.
