Part of the Solomon Islands Resorts Group, and located right on the water's edge, the Gizo Hotel is a very nice property, possibly one of the nicest in the Solomons.  It is a popular hotel for diving tours, as there are a huge number of WWII aircraft and ship wrecks and popular dive sites, including Kennedy Island and Naru island Wall and Gap.

 

Rooms are built around a landscaped swimming pool with either a seaview or pool view.  The rooms offer simple but clean accommodation with private bathrooms, air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and private balcony or courtyard patio.

 

The hotel's bar and restaurant are found on the upper level of a large, open air Leaf Haus, overlooking Gizo Bay.  The restaurant serves fresh local seafood and together with the bar,  are a favourite watering hole for the many diving enthusiasts that make their way to Gizo.
