The Millennium Hotel Rotorua is located right in the centre of the town, and is within a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants, museums, parks and gardens, the popular Polynesian Spa and the shores of Lake Rotorua.

The Hotel has 227 modern and well appointed Superior, Superior Plus and Club Rooms.

Superior Rooms offer 1 king or 2 queen beds, ensuite marble bathroom with hairdryer, bath/shower and complimentary toiletries, air conditioning, Sky freeview TV, broadband internet access, telephone, mini-bar, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, work desk and chair, radio/alarm clock, in-room safe and iron and ironing board.

Superior Plus rooms offer the same facilities as the Superior Rooms, but are on higher floors offering uninterrupted views over Lake Rotorua.

The 5th floor Club Rooms offer the same appointments as the Superior Plus Rooms, albeit with upgraded and more luxurious facilities.  They also have the added advantage of providing access to the Club Floor, which is a smoke free and child free area, and exclusive use of the Club Lounge, which provides complimentary continental breakfast, evening bar service with canapes, large screen plasma TV's with surround sound systems, SKY channels, DVD and Video players, 24 hour coffee machine, complimentary magazines and newspapers and computors with internet access and printers.  Laptop ports are available throughout the lounge, to use your personal laptops and netbooks.

The Restaurant Nikau offers a varied menu using fresh fish, steaks, meats and vegetables, plus a selection of mouthwatering desserts.  The wine menu is extensive, providing a good selection of New Zealand and international wines.

For a lighter bite, the Brasserie Poolside Restaurant offers an al fresco breakfast, light lunches and is the location for the poolside Maori Feast and Revue show, offering a friendly atmosphere and great photo opportunities!

The trendy Bar Zazu is open daily from noon until late and offers beverages, a bar snack menu and dining options from the Restaurant.

The Millennium Hotel Rotorua offers a number of facilities to enhance your stay, where you have a good workout or relax with a massage.   The hotel's 15 metre pool is geo-thermally heated and has a retractable roof for the warm summer days.  There is a separate children's pool, communal and private jacuzzis, saunas, lockers and segregated changing and shower facilities.

Hotel guests receive complimentary access to the Go 360 Gym, adjacent to the hotel, which is a well equipped fitness centre and has trainers on hand if required.  But if you want to relax, then 'The Spa' offers massage, body and beauty treatments, some using Pure Source Rotorua Mud, which is extemely high in cleansing minerals.  Also, the popular Polynesian Spa is a few minutes walk from the hotel, offering a larger range of treatments.

The Millennium Hotel Rotorua is a proud founding member of the Rotorua Sustainable Tourism Charter, which commits members to protect the enviroment using sustainable processes.  The hotel recylces much of its waste, removed plastic bags in guest room bins, (saving 166,000 bags going to landfill every year!), the waterfalls and fountains use pump and recycle system, nearly all the light bulbs are now energy efficient bulbs and a major green initiative is the hotel's use of a geo-thermal converter, to harness geothermal energy to heat all the hot water, provide heating in the winter and to heat the swimming pools.
