Located on the shoreline of the beautiful Lake Rotorua, the Koura Lodge is a just 5 minutes from Rotorua town centre, but offers a private, peaceful lakefront retreat nestled in landscaped gardens, green lawns and panaoramic lake views.
Offering just 10 individually decorated and furnished ensuite rooms; Lakeview Double Room, Lakeview Premium Room, Family Room A, Family Room B and a 2-bed Premium detached 2-storey villa. All rooms offer 1 King or 2 King Single beds, traditional wooden furniture, 17" LCD TV with DVD player, ensuite bathroom with bathrobes, hairdryers and heated towel rail, luxurious Egyptian cotton linens and sliding doors to a small deck with furniture and lovely lake views. Premium Lakeview rooms offer more space, with a 20" TV, writing desk, a spa bath and easy chairs. Family Room A offers 2 bedrooms, with a queen bed and 2 large singles, in an interconnecting suite. Family Room B is similar to Room A but has 2 interconnecting rooms comprising of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The detached Premium Villa contains 2 ensuite bedrooms with 1 king, 2 queen beds and a 20" LCD TV, a large, modern and spacious lounge, with a 42" plasma TV with SKY channels, a DVD player and surround sound, large open soapstone fire, writing desk with internet port, sofa and armchairs, full-size billiards/pool table, sliding doors to 2 private balconies, a full-sized dining table, and open plan to a modern, full-sized, fully-equipped kitchen.
The Lodge also has a communal kitchenette, available for all guests use, with a microwave, small fridge, kettle with complimentary tea and coffee and a mini-bar stocked with local wine and beer, 2 lounge areas with Finnsh soapstone open fires, TV, board games and wireless internet access, a large open-air jacuzzi, a sauna, floodlit tennis courts, petanque and croquet, 1- and 2-seater canoes and a private jetty, where you can fish, take a boat charter or floatplane sightseeing trip or just enjoy the views of the lake.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand: Operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air: Offer daily flights to Auckland via Seoul from Heathrow.
Singapore Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways: Offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas: Offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
