Located just a few minutes from Rotorua town centre, the Distinction Hotel Rotorua, set in beautiful, landscaped gardens, is the ideal place to relax and unwind after enjoying the activities and attractions of the Rotorua area.
The Distinction Hotel Rotorua offers 124 rooms, Superior and Deluxe Guest Rooms, and 9 luxury suites, that are modern and well appointed. Guest Rooms offer 1 king or 2 queen beds, ensuite bathrooms with bath/shower, hairdryer, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries, air conditioning and heating, freeview TV, Sky movie, sports and news channels, DVD player, radio/alarm clock, in-room safe, telephone, work desk, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, minibar on request, tea and coffee making facilities, internet access and private balconies in most of the Deluxe Rooms. A limited number of smoking rooms are available on request, but most rooms are non-smoking.
The spacious Suites offer the same facilities as the Superior and Deluxe Guest Rooms, with the addition of a separate bedroom, separate living and dining room, well equipped kitchenette, complimentary tea and ground coffee and private balcony from the bedroom and the living room.
The Distinction Hotel Rotorua has 3 restaurants, Mr Yakatori, Japanese skewers of meat and vegetables, The Pavillion Restaurant, offering a fresh, simple menu for breakfast, lunch dinner and a very popular High Tea, and Kowhai Restaurant which has a expansive hot and cold breakfast buffet, and a Maori Dinner and Show in the evening. The D Bar offers light meals and bar snacks, a large range of beers, local and international wines and spirits.
The Hotel provides a number of facilities for guests, including outdoor swimming pool, spa, fitness room, sauna, and private underground grotto spas. There is also a hair salon, a gift shop, business centre and a Visitor Tours and Activities desk.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome. Children under 12 years stay FREE when sharing with accompanying parents using existing bedding. Children 13 years and over pay extra person rate of £26 per night. Children under 5 years also dine FREE when accompanied by 1 paying adult.

There are number of Airlines offering one-stop, same carrier flights from the UK to New Zealand, with most going into Auckland.
Air New Zealand: Operate a daily service from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Auckland, and a daily service, except Monday, from Heathrow to Auckland Via Hong Kong, with extensive connecting flights to all major cities and towns throughout both islands.
Korean Air: Offer daily flights to Auckland via Seoul from Heathrow.
Singapore Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch via Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester
Emirates Airlines: Offer daily flights to Auckland and Christchurch, and other destination in Australia, via Dubai, from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow
Thai Airways: Offer five flights a week to Auckland via Bangkok.
Qantas: Offer daily connecting flights over Sydney to Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and there are regular connecting fights to Queenstown.
