Situated oceanfront in the well know Kaanapali Beach Resort, the Kaanapali Beach Hotel is set on 11 acres of landscaped grounds on the sunny western shore of Maui.
The hotel has four wings which house the 430 comfortably furnished guest rooms furnished in island decor. The rooms are in 6 view catagories; Aloha Value, Garden, Pool/Courtyard, Partial Ocean, Ocean View or Ocean Front. All rooms offer air conditioning, ensuite facilities, private lanai, mini-fridge, iron & ironing board, tea & coffee facilities, wireless & wired Internet access, in-room safe, and TV with in-room movies. The rooms in the Maui, Lanai and Kauai Builidngs have baths and showers. The rooms in the Molokai Building have showers only.
The buildings are set around a lush tropical courtyard in which guests will find a whale shaped swimming pool and an outdoor bar and grill which opens onto Kaanapali Beach. Free scuba lessons and water aerobics are available in the pool daily. Equipment for snorkling, scuba diving and boogie boarding can be hired from the hotel.
There is a selection of dining at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, in the 3 on-site restaurants, that serve varied menus including continental and island cuisine, poolside grills and buffets. The Mixed Plate offers breakfast and lunch buffets with daily specials and themes. The Tiki Terrace, for breakfast and dinner, has fresh island seafood and steaks as well as popular chef's specials. The Tiki Bar & Grill offers light meals and snacks along with fruity cocktails, all open air and poolside. They also offer a famous Sunday Champagne Brunch, with free-flowing Champagne, up to 65 different Brunch items to choose from, and Hawaiian entertainment. There is a complimentary welcome breakfast on the first or second morning of your stay, where you can find out about the hotel activities, and whats available in the area.
For a touch of French culture, you can also enjoy Gerards Restaurant, located a little way south, further down the coast in Lahaina town, at their sister property, The Plantation Inn, and offering a menu of Contemporary Island French Cuisine, using Maui's fresh produce, an award-winning wine list and moutwatering desserts. There are also the many shops, cafes and restaurants of the Kaanapali Beach and Whalers Village area nearby.
The Hotel faces directly onto the famous Kaanapali Beach and has a dedicated team to find various activities to occupy your days and nights. Guest Services, located in the lobby, is open daily, where you'll find all the complimentary programs and activities offered at the hotel, such as snorkeling and scuba diving, even free scuba lessons in the pool every day!. For information on activities around Maui, the Ohana Fun Center, can assist with reservations for sightseeing excursions, ocean activities, and evening entertainment, and there are two championship golf courses at Kaanapali close at hand for golfers to enjoy, together with a driving range and putting green.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcomed and well catered for. Children 17 years old and under stay FREE when they share the room with accompanying adults and use the existing beds. Alternatively, connecting rooms are available.
Airport Transfers
Round trip airport transfers are £60 per person from Kahului Airport.
The resort is 45mins from Kahului airport and 10 minutes from Kapalua airport.
We recommend a taxi from Kapalua Airport, as this hotel is only a short distance from the airport.

Currently, there are no non-stop flights from the UK to the Hawaiian Islands, mainly due to the distance from the UK. The most convenient way of getting there is via a connection at an American or Canadian city, and the following is a list of the Airlines that offer through service to the islands and the routes they operate.
Air Canada: Offer daily connecting flights to Honolulu from Heathrow via Toronto or Vancouver
United Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Heathrow via Los Angeles and San Francisco to Honolulu (Oahu), Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Chicago and Denver to Honolulu
American Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Dallas to Honolulu and Maui
Alaska Airlines: Offer flights from Seattle and Portland to Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii Big Island and Kauai, which can be used in conjunction with other airlines from the UK
Continental: Offer through services with same day connections from Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester via Newark, New York, to Honolulu. They also have non-stop flights from Houston to Honolulu
Delta Airlines: Currently, no Delta flights from the UK make a same day connection to their Hawaiian flights, so an overnight stay will be required. They offer non-stop flights to Honolulu (Oahu) from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit and Salt Lake City, and to Maui from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City
US Airways: Currently, no US Airways flights from the UK make a same day connection to their flights to the Hawaiian islands, so an overnight stay will be required. They operate non-stop flights from Phoenix to Maui , Honolulu, (Oahu), Kauai and Hawaii Big Island
.
Hawaiian Airlines: They
provide a large range of flights from cities in the American West
to Honolulu and Maui. Their flights from Los Angeles,
San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, San
Diego, Seattle, Portland and Phoenix can be used in
connection with other carriers flights from the UK. They
also provide a weekly service between Honolulu and Tahiti,
currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
Korean Air: Offer a
very competitive price for flights to Honolulu from Heathrow via
Seoul in South Korea, but it is the long way around.
Domestic Flights around the
Islands
There are currently four domestic airlines operating in Hawaii; Aloha Air, Hawaiian Airlines, Go and Kahalau. They operate an extensive domestic flight network covering all the islands, with frequent and regular departures operating between 6am and 9 pm
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for
private charters throughout Hawaii, so arranging charters
between the main and/or outer islands is very easy. At this
time, there are no seaplanes available for chartering in the
Hawaiian chain, which is a little disappointing for flying boat
fans!
