The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas is an upmarket timeshare Resort offering studio and 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in two main North and South buildings, set in landscaped gardens surrounding a number of freeform pools and waterfalls.
The Resort's apartments offer flexible living space with separate bedrooms (except studios) spacious lounge area, a well equipped kitchen with full-sized appliances, laundry facilities, a breakfast bar, dining table and chairs, TV with DVD player, and a private balcony with sun furniture (some studios). Westin's famous Heavenly Beds are featured in every bedroom and studio, and the equally luxurious ensuite Heavenly Bathrooms include a large shower with separate whirlpool tub, modern fixtures, tile flooring and plush bathrobes. Villa views vary from Island View, looking towards the interior of the island. Ocean View and Ocean Front. The 2-bed Villas consist of a connecting Studio and 1-bed Villa
As the Apartments are timeshare, rather than privately owned, the furniture, fixtures and decor are governed by the Resort, so quality and cleanliness are Resort standard. The Villas are all decorated in coffee and cream tones, with dark wood furniture and granite counter tops.
This property is mainly marketed as self-catering, but there are a few options on site for when you don't fancy cooking. There is the pleasant Ocean Pool Bar & Restaurant, with poolside terrace and serving a varied menu, including huge buffet breakfasts, Pulehu's Italian Grill, with inside or poolside terrace dining and serving pizzas, pastas and Italian specialities, and Pailolo Bar & Grill, offering burgers, sandwiches and salads with covered or open air seating. The Pu'ukoli'i General Store offers baked goods, deli sandwiches, salads and side dishes, freshly marinated meats and island fish for BBQ grilling or in-villa cooking and homemade pizzas, and the Kai Ala Market offers groceries, last moment items and ingredients, ready-to-cook & ready-to-eat options as well as logo merchandise and other necessities. Also, in the landscaped grounds and beach area you will find outdoor dining areas with gas barbeque grills, available for all guests use. Live entertainment around the pools and restaurants, daily Happy Hours and special theme nights add to the variety and fun.
For more choice, the shops, bars and Restaurants of the Kaanapali Beach area are all nearby and the historic whaling town of Lahaina is less than 10 minutes down the coast. The Resort offers a complimentary shuttle that travels between Ka'anapali and three locations in Lahaina. All guests will be asked to show their room key prior to boarding the shuttle, whose stops include the Lahaina Cannery Mall, Lahaina Gateway Mall, and Hilo Hattie's.
There is a fully equipped Business Center offering computers and Internet access, a games room for casual competitions and family fun and an on-site safety deposit box room. There is also The Spa Helani, a Fitness Centre and children can participate in the Westin's Kids Club, with various fun activites to enjoy.
Housekeeping services are available daily, or on days you request, to include making up of beds, fresh linen, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and the cleaning of the kitchen and bathroom. If you ask to 'Go Green' at check-in, you can opt to swop a days housekeeping service for a FREE breakfast - this is part of their Green policies to save laundry and power costs.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcomed and well catered for. There is a Kids Club for 5-12 yrs and Kids menus available at the Restaurants. Children 17 and under stay FREE with accompanying parents when using existing bedding.

Currently, there are no non-stop flights from the UK to the Hawaiian Islands, mainly due to the distance from the UK. The most convenient way of getting there is via a connection at an American or Canadian city, and the following is a list of the Airlines that offer through service to the islands and the routes they operate.
Air Canada: Offer daily connecting flights to Honolulu from Heathrow via Toronto or Vancouver
United Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Heathrow via Newark, Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco to Honolulu (Oahu), Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Chicago and Denver to Honolulu
American Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Dallas to Honolulu and Maui
Alaska Airlines: Offer daily flights from Anchorage, Seattle and Portland to Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii Big Island and Kauai, which can be used in conjunction with other airlines from the UK
Delta Airlines: Currently, no Delta flights from the UK make a same day connection to their Hawaiian flights, so an overnight stay will be required. However, they can offer a same day connection by using Virgin Atlantic's flight from Heathrow to LA, They offer non-stop flights to Honolulu (Oahu) from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit and Salt Lake City, and to Maui from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City
Hawaiian Airlines: They provide a large range of flights from cities in the American West to Honolulu and Maui. Their flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, Portland and Phoenix can be used in connection with other carriers flights from the UK. They also provide a weekly service between Honolulu and Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
Korean Air:
Offer a very competitive price for flights to Honolulu from
Heathrow via Seoul in South Korea, but it is the long way
around.
Domestic Flights around the
Islands
There are currently two major domestic airlines operating in Hawaii; Island Air, and Hawaiian Airlines. They operate an extensive domestic flight network covering all the islands, with frequent and regular departures operating between 6am and 9 pm
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for
private charters throughout Hawaii, so arranging charters between
the main and/or outer islands is very easy. At this time, there are
no seaplanes available for chartering in the Hawaiian chain, which
is a little disappointing for flying boat fans!
