This full service oceanfront resort is set in 27 acres on the most spectacular part of Ka'anapali Beach. In the spirit of Aloha, the resort's staff are proud to serve their guests and will make your stay a memorable one.
The resort underwent a $33m refurbishment in 2007-08, when the whole resort, but mainly the rooms and suites, received a complete refurbishment and makeover. The hotel has accomodation in 2 separate areas; the 12-story Lahaina Kai Tower with guest rooms and 1- and 2-bedroom Suites, and the detached, spacious cottages and studios in the lush landscaped gardens.
The Lahaina Kai Tower has spacious luxurious rooms and suites right in the middle of the resort in categories Standard, Partial Ocean, Ocean and Deluxe Ocean View rooms and Ocean Front Rooms. They all offer 1 King or 2 Double beds, ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, flat screen TV, fridge, coffee machine, complimentary Wi-Fi internet access and a private furnished balcony with views of the resort, gardens and the ocean. Each of the 350sqft rooms offer the same amenities, just their location being the difference, with the Standard View being on the lowest floors, Partial Ocean on floors 3-5, Ocean Views on 5-7 and Deluxe Ocean View on 8-12. The Ocean Front rooms are on 3rd-12th floors at the end of the tower with uninterrupted sea views.
The Tower Suites provide the 1- or 2-bedroom Molokai or Lanai Suites, which are double the size of the Guest rooms, and offer a separate bedroom (corner room in Lanai Suites) with King bed and balcony, ensuite bathroom with double vanities, bath and separate shower, (Lanai Suites also have a 2nd shower room), separate living room with sofa bed, TV and 2nd balcony. 2-Bed Suites have a 2nd bedroom and bathroom and additional balcony.
The Garden Cottages are set in small 2-storey buildings which offer Cottage rooms, Cottage Studios or 1- or 2-bedroom Suites. Garden Rooms are spacious rooms with 1 King or 2 Double beds, ensuite bathroom and private lanai (balcony) or terrace overlooking the landscaped gardens. Ocean Front Cottage rooms are close to the shoreline with sea views and Deluxe Cottage and Deluxe Ocean Front rooms have upgraded furnishings. Deluxe Garden and Deluxe Ocean Front Studios are larger than the rooms and have 2 double beds and kitchenette with breakfast bar and dining area.
The 1- and 2-bed Garden Cottage and Oceanfront Cottage Suites have separate bedrooms, living room, kitchen, ensuite bathrooms and private lanai with garden or beachfront views.
The talented chefs at the Royal Lahaina will tempt your palate with island and traditional cuisine, from the extensive selection at the buffet style breakfast to the exotic specialities at the award winning Royal Ocean Terrace or the Beachcomber restaurants. Light lunches are offered at the poolside grill and the Royal Scoop Ice Cream Parlour features an array of Maui-made ice cream, pastries and sandwiches. Alternatively, room service is available if you want to eat in private.
There are 3 swimming pools, a whirlpool, tennis courts, shopping arcade, beauty salon and Alana Day Spa and two championship golf courses nearby. A multitude of water sports and activities are available for the energetic amongst you, or for a real thrill ride, try the nearby Ka'anapali Zipline tour, and soar high over the trees and the Ka'anapali shoreline. They also offer nightly torch lighting ceremony and live evening entertainment.
Hop on the $3 shuttle buses to the main town of Lahaina and Whalers Village for shopping, dining and sightseeing, or take a sunset trip to Black Rock and watch the daily cliff diving

Currently, there are no non-stop flights from the UK to the Hawaiian Islands, mainly due to the distance from the UK. The most convenient way of getting there is via a connection at an American or Canadian city, and the following is a list of the Airlines that offer through service to the islands and the routes they operate.
Air Canada: Offer daily connecting flights to Honolulu from Heathrow via Toronto or Vancouver
United Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Heathrow via Newark, Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco to Honolulu (Oahu), Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Chicago and Denver to Honolulu
American Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Dallas to Honolulu and Maui
Alaska Airlines: Offer daily flights from Anchorage, Seattle and Portland to Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii Big Island and Kauai, which can be used in conjunction with other airlines from the UK
Delta Airlines: Currently, no Delta flights from the UK make a same day connection to their Hawaiian flights, so an overnight stay will be required. However, they can offer a same day connection by using Virgin Atlantic's flight from Heathrow to LA, They offer non-stop flights to Honolulu (Oahu) from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit and Salt Lake City, and to Maui from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City
Hawaiian Airlines: They provide a large range of flights from cities in the American West to Honolulu and Maui. Their flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, San Diego, Seattle, Portland and Phoenix can be used in connection with other carriers flights from the UK. They also provide a weekly service between Honolulu and Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
Korean Air:
Offer a very competitive price for flights to Honolulu from
Heathrow via Seoul in South Korea, but it is the long way
around.
Domestic Flights around the
Islands
There are currently two major domestic airlines operating in Hawaii; Island Air, and Hawaiian Airlines. They operate an extensive domestic flight network covering all the islands, with frequent and regular departures operating between 6am and 9 pm
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for
private charters throughout Hawaii, so arranging charters between
the main and/or outer islands is very easy. At this time, there are
no seaplanes available for chartering in the Hawaiian chain, which
is a little disappointing for flying boat fans!

If there is a charge by the airline for this, we will only do this with your approval. Fully refurbished Deluxe Ocean View Guest Rooms in the Lahaina Kai Tower, have the same amenities as the Standard rooms, but are on the side of the tower closest to the sea with lovely beach and ocean views.Tower Suites
The spacious Tower Suites offer 1 or 2 bedroom Suites with separate bedroom and living room with sofa bed, 2 separate lanai (balcony), ensuite bathroom with double vanities and walk-in shower or bath (on request) and similar amenities to the Guest Rooms. The Molokai Suites are on the sides of the Tower on floors 3-12, and the Lanai Suites are on the front corners of the Tower on floors 6-12, with 2 bathrooms and the bedroom having a fabulous corner position with uninterrupted ocean views.Garden Cottages
The Garden Cottages Studios and Suites are dotted around the landscaped gardens, in low 2-storey buildings, and offer a range of categories to choose from. Garden Cottage Room and Ocean Front Cottage rooms are similar in size and amenities to the Standard Rooms in the Tower, but are on the ground floor overlooking the gardens or the beach. The Deluxe Garden Cottage Rooms and Deluxe Ocean Front Cottage Rooms are on the ground or first floor and provide upgraded amenities. Each 350sqft Cottage Room offers 1 King or 2 Double beds, ensuite bathroom with bath and/or wet room-style shower, and either a spacious sitting/dining room, or sliding louvered door opening to a private terrace overlooking the gardens or the beachfront.Deluxe Studios
The spacious 700sqft Deluxe Garden and Deluxe Ocean Front Studios have a bedroom area with 2 double beds, living/dining area, kitchenette, ensuite bathroom with wet room-style shower and granite vanity and with large picture windows with views of the gardens or the beachfront and Ocean. They also have all the standard amenities and facilities that other rooms provide.1- and 2-Bed Cottage Suites
The 1- and 2-Bedroom Cottage Suites offer very spacious accommodation for families or friends sharing. The 1-Bed Suites are on the first floor and offer a king bed in the sleeping area, queen-size sofa bed in the separate living room and a double day bed and dining table and chairs in the enclosed front area with large picture windows with views of the gardens or ocean. The 2-Bed Suites are on the ground floor and offer 2 separate bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with 2 double beds, each with its own ensuite bathroom with shower and sitting/lounge (1 double sofa-bed) area, both with patio doors opening to a central outdoor terrace living area with wet bar, easy chairs and coffee table, leading out to an enclosed garden with ocean views. The 2-Bed Deluxe Cottage Suite additionally offers upgraded amenities, 3 bathrooms and full kitchen.
