The Lokahi Lodge, part of the Chalet Kilauea Collection, is located in Volcano Village, less than 1 mile from the entrance to the Volcanoes National Park, but nestled amongst native Hawaiian rainforest in a quiet, peaceful area.
The Lodge blends modern convenience with country charm, with a wood-burning fireplace and a vintage piano in the in cosy and spacious guest lounge, the Ohana Room. There is a covered lanai surrounding the entire Lodge, with great views into the beautiful and unique rain-forest and the landscaped gardens, where you can find garden hot tub to relax at the end of your day.
Lokahi Lodge has four bedrooms on the ground floor and a spacious, comfortable loft on the second floor. The Liko Room, the Makalapua Room, the Mohalapua Room and the Olena Room are on the first floor, all with ensuite facilities, either 1 Queen bed, 1 King bed or 1 Queen and 1 Single and access to the shared kitchen and the Ohana Room. The spacious Naupaka Loft Room features ensuite facilities, 1 King bed, a Single day bed, sofa and chair, dining table and chairs, small kitchenette and entry via a private staircase.
There is a well-equipped shared kitchen, available for all guests to use, and a large spacious guest lounge, the Ohana Room, with wood-burning fire, TV, computer, free wireless internet access and a selection of comfy sofas and chairs.
Complimentary 'Afternoon Tea by the Fireside' is served in the Ohana room every day and a continental breakfast is available every morning in the dining room.

This nice, homely Lodge is very close to Volcano National Park and is ideally located for a few days to explore the Park.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcomed. Extra bedding would be a single foam floor mattress to accommodate 1 or 2 children, depending on selected room. Extra person rate would apply for children and would be $25 + tax per night. There is no charge for infants under 2 years and travel cots/playpens are available to hire at approximately £15 per night.
Airport Transfers
Round trip Airport transfers can be arranged on request. However, we strongly recommend hiring a car, especially if wishing to explore the Volcanoes National Park, without too much hiking. A car would be required if you wished to travel back to a coastal or town Resort, but roads are tarmac and well maintained and roads are not crowded.

Late check-in must be advised as Front Desk will be closed from 5pm - 7.30am.
Currently, there are no non-stop flights from the UK to the Hawaiian Islands, mainly due to the distance from the UK. The most convenient way of getting there is via a connection at an American or Canadian city, and the following is a list of the Airlines that offer through service to the islands and the routes they operate.
Air Canada: Offer daily connecting flights to Honolulu from Heathrow via Toronto or Vancouver
United Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Heathrow via Newark, Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco to Honolulu (Oahu), Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Chicago and Denver to Honolulu
American Airlines: Offer through services with same day connections from Heathrow via Los Angeles to Maui, Kauai and Kona (Hawaii Big island). They also offer non-stop flights from Dallas to Honolulu and Maui
Alaska Airlines: Offer flights from Seattle and Portland to Honolulu, Maui, Hawaii Big Island and Kauai, which can be used in conjunction with other airlines from the UK
Delta Airlines: Currently, no Delta flights from the UK make a same day connection to their Hawaiian flights, so an overnight stay will be required. They offer non-stop flights to Honolulu (Oahu) from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Detroit and Salt Lake City, and to Maui from Los Angeles and Salt Lake City
US Airways: Currently, no US Airways flights from the UK make a same day connection to their flights to the Hawaiian islands, so an overnight stay will be required. They operate non-stop flights from Phoenix to Maui, Honolulu, (Oahu), Kauai and Hawaii Big Island.
Hawaiian
Airlines: They provide a large range of flights from
cities in the American West to Honolulu and Maui. Their flights
from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas, San
Diego, Seattle, Portland and Phoenix can be used in connection with
other carriers flights from the UK. They also provide a weekly
service between Honolulu and Tahiti, currently operating on a
Saturday/Sunday schedule.
Korean Air:
Offer a very competitive price for flights to Honolulu from
Heathrow via Seoul in South Korea, but it is the long way
around.
Domestic Flights around the
Islands
There are currently three domestic airlines operating in Hawaii; Island Air, Hawaiian Airlines and Go. They operate an extensive domestic flight network covering all the islands, with frequent and regular departures operating between 6am and 9 pm
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for
private charters throughout Hawaii, so arranging charters between
the main and/or outer islands is very easy. At this time, there are
no seaplanes available for chartering in the Hawaiian chain, which
is a little disappointing for flying boat fans!
