The Legends Resort, Moorea is brand new Boutique Hotel that was opened in March 2009. and everything here is luxurious, spacious and modern but with an island flavour. 

 

The Resort extends over 7 hectares on the island of Moorea and is built on the lush hillside of a majestic valley, admidst tropical flowers and fruit trees. The site overlooks the lagoon and ocean, and sits comfortably as part of the natural environment, ensuring the preservation of its authenticity over time.

 

The Resort offers 46 contemporary style 2- or 3-bedroomed private villa, a luxurious home away from home, decorated in a elegant, island style with natural material furniture and warm wooden floors.  There are 2 types of villa; 120sqm/1290sqft 2-bed Villa Iti and 180sqm/1920sqft 3-bed Villa Nui, and 3 grades to choose, from Tropical Garden, Ocean and Premium Ocean View.  Each Villa has separate bedrooms, 1 or separate bathrooms, modern fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, living room, large wraparound private deck with sunbeds, table and chairs in a covered part of the deck and a private jacuzzi with fantastic views over the gardens and the lagoon.  There is also the stunning Villa Rapa Nui, which has 200sqm/2150sqft of space, with 3 separate bedrooms, one ensuite in a separate wing, 2 further bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with large island, laundry room, separate dining room and large private deck with covered seating area and private jacuzzi.    

 

Legends Resort only has a very small amount of beach area, but it does offer a secluded white sand beach located on a private island just of the coast, in the turquoise lagoon and only a few minutes from the resort by free boat trip.

 

There is the Legends Gourmet Restaurant to tempt your palate, or you can arrange to have anything you fancy from the full menu delivered to your villa or a chef come and cook in your kitchen, for a private dining experience.  Party platters and picnic boxes are also available, for entertaining in your villa, or a private picinic on a deserted beach.   There is also an international deli, café, gourmet market, bakery, pastries and a wine shop, all you need to dine in your villa in style!

 

To occupy your days, apart from the private island beach, there is also a unique suspended infinity pool with pool deck, looking out over the lagoon, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, tennis court, Dolphin Encounter, Reef tours to see rays, sharks and many other sealife in a boat with underwater glass lounge, Island safari tours and an international 18-hole golf course is within a 20 minutes drive from the resort. 

 

There is an exclusive boutique and jewelery store, offering local art & crafts as well as unique fashion items and handmade jewelry, using natural products, and of course, many of the famous Tahitian black and coloured pearls.

 

For relaxing, your own private spa experience can be arranged in your villa, with your choice of massages, spa treatments, facials, manicures and other beauty treatments.

 

This resort does not include daily housekeeping as part of the room rates, except a full linen change every 3 days.  Daily house keeping can be booked when ever you may need it or we can book it daily for you.  For a 2-bed Villa Iti the daily charge is £30 and the 3-bed Villa Nui is £45.
