Originally opened in June 2002 as the Moorea Pearl Resort, the newly rebranded Manava Beach Resort is still the island's newest four star hotel, but it is built on the spot of one of the first hotels ever built on the island, the famous Bali Hai!
Located on the beach on the island's north coast, close to village of Maharepa and just 10 minutes from the airport, the property is in a great location. The property and gardens are well maintained, providing pleasant surroundings from which to enjoy your stay on Moorea.
With 90 guest rooms with 7 room categories, the hotel can cater for all requirements. They have 18 Garden View Rooms, 8 Garden View Family/Duplex Rooms, 28 Garden Pool Bungalows, 8 Beach Bungalows, and 10 Overwater and 18 Premium Overwater Bungalows.
Garden View Rooms are located in a thatched 2-storey building at the rear of the gardens, but still only about 50m from the beach. They offer 1 King or 2 Twin beds, ensuite shower room with separate toilet, walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries, single sofabed, work desk, 26" satelite TV with DVD/CD player, small fridge with mini-bar (on request), tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and private furnished balcony or patio with views over the landscaped gardens. The Family Duplex and Duplex with kitchenette are on the top floor, and offer the same amenities as the Garden Rooms, but with larger accommodations. The 6 Family Duplex rooms have 2 single beds on the main floor with a King bed up on the mezzanine, accessed by full staircase. The 2 Duplex with Kitchenette offer the same layout as the Family Duplex, except the downstairs room is a modern, comfortable living room, with double sofa-bed, armchairs and a modern kitchenette. The Premium Garden Pool Bungalows offer the same amenities as the Garden Rooms, but are in semi-detached bungalows located in the tropical gardens, just a short walk to the beach. Additionally, they offer a large walled private courtyard with private plunge pool, sun loungers and table with chairs. The Beach Bungalows offer the same amenities as the Garden Rooms, but are slightly larger, and also have a large private sun deck that leads directly onto the beach. The Overwater Bungalows also provide the same amenities as the Garden Rooms, but they are located out on the pontoon, snaking out into the lagoon. They have a large ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, an additional single bed, a glass floor panel and a large private deck leading to a private pontoon with access directly into the water. The Standard Overwater bungalows are on the inside of the pontoon, facing more towards the beach and the Resort, whereas the Premium Overwaters face out into the lagoon.
All the bars and restaurants have just recently been refurbished (2015) and offer modern, relaxing surroundings with Polynesian flair. The casual, open-air Le Mahana'i Restaurant offers a buffet breakfast, light lunches, afternoon snacks and delicious dinner menus, that fuse the flavours of France with Polynesian cuisine. On Saturday evening, they also have an dinner buffet, with a wide choice of dishes. The Autera'a Bar serves a wide range of beverages, in a poolside setting. The newly updated Mateihani Lounge Bar opened in March 2015 and has a chic tropical wine bar feel, with live music, tasty tapas and a good selection of quality wines.
The resort facilities include a large infinity swimming pool, dive centre, bar and boutique. As well as its own facilities, the resort is close to a number of restaurants and shops. There is a wide range of leisure and sporting activities to enjoy (most with a local charge) snorkelling, canoeing and kayaking, shark and ray feeding, Jet ski tours and four wheel drive safaris to name just a few.
The Manava Beach Resort and Spa is reasonably priced and offers very good value for money with no compromise on quality or service.

Child Policy
Children of all ages are catered for. Children 14 years old and under stay FREE when they share the room with accompanying adults and use the existing beds.
There are usually special offers available for free dining for children when accompanying parents, subject to availability.
Airport Transfers
Round trip airport transfers are £25 per adult, children 11 years old and younger £13 each.
The resorts is 10 kms from the airport.

Although there are frequent
international flights into Tahiti, French Polynesia's international
gateway to the World, there are limited airports of embarkation to
choose from, with currently only Paris, Los Angeles, Auckland and
Tokyo offering single plane air service to Tahiti.
The international airline for French Polynesia. is Air Tahiti
Nui, who operate daily flights from Paris and Los
Angeles to Tahiti, and on some days there are additional fights
to/from Los Angeles. In addition, they operate two weekly flights
to/from Auckland and they serve Tokyo twice a week. Their services
to New York and Sydney have been suspended, at this
time.
Air France
currently offer a service from Paris, three times a week via Los
Angeles
Air New Zealand
operates daily flights via LA to Papeete, and 5 days a week from/to
Auckland with it's own aircraft. It also operates a codeshare
arrangements with Air Tahiti Nui providing seats on their fights
from Tahiti to Auckland and Los Angeles.
United Airlines operate 3 times
a week from San Francisco to Papeete, on Tuesday, Thursday and
Sunday, which will connect to their daily flight from
Heathrow.
Air Calin
operate a weekly flight between Noumea, in New Caledonia, and
Tahiti.
Hawaiian
Airlines provide a weekly service between Honolulu and
Tahiti, currently operating on a Saturday/Sunday schedule.
LANChile
operate a flight once a week from Santiago to Tahiti via
Easter Island, providing the availability to do a great side trip
from Tahiti to Easter island.
Air Tahiti is
French Polynesia's domestic airline, which operates an extensive
domestic flight network covering all the country's main islands,
with at least a daily service. With the main Society islands
receiving a number of flights a day, since Air Moorea stopped
operations between Tahiti and Moorea, the flight connections now to
Moorea have become limited, most connections between the two are
now done by ferry boat.
The less populated and outer islands have a restricted service, so
sometimes a night stop in Tahiti may be required when connecting to
these islands.
Air Tahiti
provide the only air service between Tahiti and the Cook islands,
which they currently do once a week on a Thursday, an extra high
season flight is operated between June and August
There are a number of aircraft and helicopters available for private charters, but they all tend to be based in Tahiti so arranging charters between the outer islands can be expensive as the aircraft will originate and terminate in Tahiti. Tahiti Nui Helicopters are one such company that operate resort transfers (where helipad available), inter-island flights and sightseeing trips. Contact us for further info.

Pricing Policy
Prices are based on the hotels " standard room rate " , which allow for each 6th nigth ( or multiples of) to be Free of Charge, so stay 6 and pay 5.
The hotel also offers lower rates for honeymooners, which may be a better price if the stay is for less than 6 nights, these prices are availabe on request...
The hotel also offers a lower price if you stay at 2 or more Pearl Resort properties during your visit to French Polynesia, these prices are also availabe on request.
The prices shown are on a per room, per night basis, for single or twin occupancy.
Meal plan prices available on request.
There is a daily Communal Tax in Moorea, which is paid directly to the hotel upon the guests' departure. This is currently 200 XPF (Pacific Francs - roughly EUR1.70/£1.60) which is per person, per day.
