Taunovo Bay Resort & Spa is a brand new 5-star Suite and Villa Resort located on 2 miles of white sand beaches overlooking the gorgous Beqa Lagoon, on the Coral Coast, about 2 hours south of Nadi by road.  They do have their own private airfield so if you wish, you can transfer by air in around 30 minutes. 

 

The Resort accommodation is offered in 1- or 2-bed beachfront suites, or in combination, can be included as part of the 1-4 bedroomed villas.  All the properties are privately owned, but have all been built, designed and decorated to the same standard in each property, and are managed by the Resort.   

 

Each property is part of a 4 bedroomed villa 'complex, with a main building containing the entrance foyer, an upstairs ensuite bedroom with 4-poster King size bed, kitchen, dining room, large living room that opens on to a patio and the infinity pool. The further 3 bedrooms are in separate pavillions, 1 just in front of the main building, next to the pool, and the other 2 in a 2-storey building to the left of the main building that contains 2 individually accessed suites.

 

The 2 suites are available together or individually, but they are never occupied at the same time by different clients. They are accessed by a covered walkway from the main entrance, and they have their own infinity pool, ensuite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath, air conditioning, ceiling fans and a living room with LCD TV, DVD and iPod dock, that open on to a private patio with dining furniture, facing the pool.  The suites are shielded from the main building by a bamboo fence, to give privacy.

 

The 1-, 2-, 3-, and 4-bed villas are a combination of the main building combined with as many or few bedrooms as required.  The main villa is fully self contained, with kitchen, laundry room, dining room, spacious lounge with large LCD TV, DVD/CD players and iPod docks, air conditioning and fans, a separate Home cinema room, private landscaped courtyards with outdoor showers, separate daybed pavillion, and all right on the beach front affording great views over the lagoon.  The bedrooms all have King size beds (or 2 singles if required), luxurious ensuite bathrooms with jacuzzi baths, showers and double vanities, and access to private landscaped courtyards with outdoor showers (except the 1 upstairs bedroom in the main building).

 

At any one time, each complex will only ever accommodate 2 private parties at one time, one party in a suite, the other in the main villa, to ensure privacy.

 

They also have a separate 4-bedroomed private treetops villa, named Heaven, that is the ultimate luxury amidst natural beauty and with amazing sea, sunrise and sunset views from every room.  This villa blends Fijian tradition with Balinese and contemporary design, and uses Fijian hardwoods, for floors, furniture and the building itself, thatched roofs, and natural stone touches. The Heaven Villa has 4 separate suites, large lounge, large gourmet kitchen, dining room, office, wine cellar, 3 infinity edge pools, outdoor jet spa jacuzzi and private cinema room.  Each suite has its own plunge pool, luxurious ensuites, with shower and spa bath.  The Villa can accommodate from 2 upto 8 people, or up to 12 adults with 4 extra single beds, and can be booked as a 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-bed property.  The daily rate is all inclusive, and includes, return air transfers from Nadi to the Resort, all gourmet meals, bar and wine cellar, spa, 24/7 personal butler, baby sitting and much more.  This Villa is great for entertaining, but is also amazing for romantic getaways, or very special holidays.      

 

There is a gourmet restaurant on site with a varied, daily-changing menu that offers a blend of local flavours with Pacific, European, Chinese and Indian influences.  Alternatively, if in a villa, you can self cater, or for that real touch of luxury,  you can have your own chef cook for you in your villa, or private dining in a special locations, such as on the beach.   They can also prepare picnic and gourmet lunches for private island trips (they have their own private island!) waterfall trips or other excursions.    

 

Taunovo Bay Resort is located in the area of Fiji aptly called 'The Adventure Capital of Fiji.'
