The Bedarra Beach Inn is a small, personal property with just 26 rooms, overlooking a lovely beach area on the Coral Coast, offering pleasant, well-equipped rooms at a very reasonable rate, an ideal location for a short stay in Fiji.

They offer 4 catagories of room: Standard, Deluxe, Superior Lagoon/Garden and Superior Honeymoon.  None of the rooms have TV's or telephones, but they do have Wi-Fi internet access (fee), so you can keep in touch online if needs be.

The Standard Rooms are in the original building and are over the bar and restaurant area, which means they can be affected by evening noise from the music, live entertainment and general 'hum'.  We would suggest booking a Deluxe or Superior room as these are in a separate building, and as such, are not as affected by the noise as the Standard rooms are.  However, if you don't mind a little bit of noise, we will happily book these rooms for you.  They offer 1 King or 2 single beds, ensuite bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries, air conditioning, ceiling fan, under-counter fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, in-room safe, Wi-Fi internet access (fee), small table and chairs and sliding doors opening to a patio or walled courtyard garden.

The Deluxe Rooms are in a separate building from the bar and restaurant, and offer similar amenities to the Standard room, except they have a private balcony furnished with table and chairs (instead of the walled garden/patio), upgraded furnishings and decor, a larger bedroom/living room with King (or 2 single) bed, armchair and coffee table, and larger bathrooms with double vanities and bigger shower cubicle.  Some Deluxe rooms can have an extra single bed on request.

The Superior Rooms are the same as the Deluxe rooms, but have nicer lagoon and garden views. The Superior Honeymoon Room is the same as the Superior, but has a larger balcony and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine or champagne.

The Ebb Tide Cafe serves breakfast and lunch daily in the lounge or on the verandah, with freshly cooked-to-order eggs and hot items, plus continental items, juices and tea and coffee for breakfast, and a selection of soups, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, homemade pizzas, plus Chef's and Fiji Favourites for lunch.

In the evening, the airy verandah becomes the Ocean Terrace Restaurant, where the fare is noticably not cafe-style! With individual candle-lit tables with clean linens, silverware and glassware, they offer delicious fare, such as lobster bisque, seafood cocktails, fresh local seafood dishes, including Fijian lobster, (when available), plus a varied selection of Polynesian and Western meat dishes, and sweet treats for dessert.  Live music and entertainment is available each evening.

The airy lobby, with it's soaring ceiling, lounge area and free-form bar, is a great place to sit and relax and enjoy a drink at the daily happy hour.

In the tropical gardens, there is a freshwater swimming pool,  jacuzzi and sun loungers, with poolside drinks service, and just across the small road and the lawns, where more loungers can be found, the small sandy beachfront offers easy access into the warm water and the coral reefs.  Depending on the tide, you could find a full 2m of clear water above the reef, or just a waist-high wade, right out to the outer reef.  The property has kayaks, snorkelling equipment and reef shoes (definitely recommended to save your feet on sharp coral!) available for guest's use.

For some relaxing and pampering time, the BBI Spa offers a wide range of body and beauty treatments, including a complimentary Fijian foot ritual treatment, which on arrival after a long flight, or a long days sightseeing, will be very welcome.

The hotels aim is to 'welcome you as guests, care for you as family and remember you as friends'.  At the Bedarra Beach Inn, this could be your home away from home, at a very reasonable cost for Fiji, whilst still offering good amenities and facilities in very pleasant surroundings, however we would not suggest a long stay here as we feel the beach location may be a little disappointing as the hotel is not a resort property.
