There are many references in this brochure to a perfect island retreat, which are all correct, but possibly not as correct as saying that Wadigi is the perfect island retreat. The reason for this is that the resort is all that is on the island, as you can see from the picture, the island is not very large! But that's OK as good things come in small packages!
This all inclusive resort is located in Fiji's Mamanuca Island's, just a ten minute helicopter flight from Nadi airport or approx 1 hour boat trip from Denarau Marina. Since purchased by the Johnston family who also manage the resort, the island has had a total makeover, which has resulted in one of the South Pacific's real gems.
Even though there are three different suites on the island they will only be let to one client at a time. They are the Honeymoon suite, Sunrise suite and Sunset suite. They are located in their own individual bures situated round the top of the island. All the suites are fully air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms with large baths. The beds are positioned to afford the occupants spectacular scenic vistas without having to rise (except to open the blinds). All the accommodation areas are connected by an expansive decking area, which at its heart has a slanted cupboard area with veranda day beds and stunning views across the ocean.
So if there are only two of you, you will have the choice of all three bedrooms! You can have an afternoon nap in one and go to sleep in another and if you fall out with each other you can have one each! The resort is ideal for families or a group of friends up to six (children under 12 not allowed).
In addition, there is an air conditioned dining/lounge area where the meals are served. There are also five other areas for dining, including a torch lite dinner on the beach. While on the subject of meals, the dining experience at Wadigi is really special as the resort boasts two of the regions top chefs who are there to serve your every need. Subject to seasonal availability the menus will be of your choice as will the dining time, as you will be the only guests. Meals will be served to your schedule and to compliment the first class cuisine the island offers one of the finest wine cellars in Fiji. The lounge has a large screen TV with a wide selection of DVDs.
The staff are there to cater for your every need. If you want the full level of pampering and service, they will be on hand to provide for your every requirements. If, however, you want to be left alone then they will peform their functions almost unseen. Again, you will set the pace, or lack of it!
One of the resorts best features is the infinity swimming pool which has to be experienced to be appreciated. The views from the pool are truly spectacular.
For the active, the resort offers a whole range of water activities and are included in the price, including waterskiing, windsurfing, hobie cat sailing, snorkelling, and much more.
Wadigi is a truly unique destination and is unrivaled for its exclusivity, it does not get much better than this.

Airport Transfers
Round trip airport transfers are £96 by sea, £130 by air per person.
The resort is 10 mins by air or a 1 1/2 hour boat trip.

Fiji has one of the best air service connections of any of the islands in the Pacific.
Fiji Airways ( was Air Pacific ), Fiji's national carrier, provides a daily service to Sydney, Auckland and Los Angeles, and frequent flights to Brisbane and Melbourne. San Francisco San Francisco. Further afield it operates 5 times a week to Hong Kong, twice a week to Tokyo and 3 times a week to Singapore They also provide regular services to the neighbouring island nations of Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, Kiribati, Tuvulu and the Solomon Islands.
Korean Air operate three flights a week between Seoul and Nadi. On the southbound flights from Seoul a direct connection can be made off Korean Air's daily London-Seoul flight. However, on the return flight, a night stop will be required in Seoul, as the flight timings do not permit a same day connection.
Air New Zealand operates daily to/from Auckland with connections to its double-daily flights to London, either via Los Angeles or Hong Kong. Air New Zealand also operates a codeshare arrangement with Air Pacific providing seats on their non-stop Nadi-Los Angeles flights.
Virgin Australia operate a regular service from/to Sydney, with connections to many other Australian cities.
Air Calin operate twice a week between Noumea and Nadi.
Air Niugini operate a twice a week service from and to Port Moresby via Honiara to Nadi.
Pacific Sun, Fiji Airways's domestic airline subsidiary, operates an extensive domestic flight network covering all the countries main islands, with at least a daily service. The main northern islands receive at least two flights a day and some times more, the less populated islands get a restricted service, so sometimes a night stop in Nadi or Suva may be required when connecting between some of the less popular islands.
A number of the outer Island Resorts operate their own dedicated daily flights, to transfer their clients from Nadi to the resort and back, using either fixed wing commuter aircraft, seaplanes or helicopters. Further details of these will be given at the time we provide our quotation.
