'Arrive as a visitor, leave as a Friend' - This is the mantra that the Tokoriki Island Resort lives by!
Tokoriki Island Resort is located in the west of the Mamanuca Islands, surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the South Pacific Ocean. It is reached from Nadi either by a 15-minute helicopter or seaplane flight or a 100-minute boat trip. The resort is set on a 300 foot long white sand beach with uninterrupted views of some very spectacular Pacific sunsets, and offers one of the most romantic resort settings to be found in the Fijian Islands.
The accommodation is offered in 3 room catagories, with 26 Beachfront or Beachfront Pool Bures (bungalows) and 10 Sunset Pool Villas. The Beachfront Bures offer a partial ocean view through the palm trees, and are located in a tropical garden setting on either side of the main restaurant/bar and pool complex. They offer an ensuite bathroom with double vanities, shower, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and a door opening to a private outdoor courtyard shower, a king-size bed with mosquito net, a sofa, coffee table, air conditioning, ceiling fan, work desk and chair, in- room safe, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar/fridge and double foldout doors out to your private deck with sun loungers. The Beachfront Pool Bures are the same internally as the Beachfront Bures, but have a much larger deck with an inset 3.5m x 2.5 private pool, with beach and ocean views.
The Sunset Pool Villas are almost double the size of the Bures, and are situated at each end of the resort, five at one end and three at the other end, all with panoramic views over the ocean. They feature a separate bedroom and living room, both of which have bi-fold or foldout doors onto the expansive terrace. Inside, they provide similar amenities to the Bures, just with upgraded furnishings and decor plus the huge private terrace with a large plunge pool and shady cabana day bed. Complimentary canapes are served in your villa each day and they offer a free laundry service, too.
Dining at Tokoriki is a pleasure every day. The oceanfront restaurant serves a breakfast continental buffet, including tropical fruit, yoghurts, cereals, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, and a hot cooked-to-order items. The lunch and dinner menus change regularly and include a selection of salads, baguettes, burgers, stir fry, fresh fish and meat dishes, plus an assortment of tasty starters and delicious desserts. Every Wednesday, they offer a Taste of Fiji special dining menu, with a buffet of various traditional Polynesian and Asian inspired dishes. The bar serves a varied array of beers, wines and spirits, plus tropical cocktails, great to enjoy around the pool or watching the sun set. There is also a new oceanside lounge deck, which is the ideal spot to watch the sunset with a cold drink, and a few new, or old, friends. They can also arrange romantic beach or bure dining, or a private deserted island picnic lunch if you wish. For a special evening, you can dine at the almost private Teppanyaki Dining room, Oishii, which only seats 8 guest, for a traditional Japanese repast
For the sporty and active, there is much to do, and a lot of activities are free: tennis, croquet, indoor games, pentaque, paddle boats, windsurfing, sailing, hand line fishing, coral viewing, snorkelling, bush walking and volleyball. Also available, at a small fee paid locally, is Scuba diving, game or sports fishing and picnicing on the Resorts' honeymoon island. The resort has one of the largest infinity swimming pools to be found in Fiji, with stunning views of the ocean from the pool and the surrounding decking area. There is also the smaller original pool, which is sometimes used for diving lessons. The brand new jetty offers a lovely place to sit and watch the fish below, and at the end is the new helipad, so you are right in the resort when you land.
The Resort is tailored very much for the adult market and children under 12 years are not allowed. For 2016, they have just been awarded 4 Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice awards; #16 Hotel in the world, #1 Hotel in South Pacific, #1 Hotel in Fiji and #1 Romantic hotel in Fiji, of which they are extremely proud.
If you want a sand between your toes Wedding, the most popular spot is their famous coconut tree on the beach, complete with floral Bridal Arch, made specially using flowers from their own gardens and orchid nursery. The pool deck offers a picturesque location for a Wedding, especially a sunset ceremony and is the ideal location for cocktails and canapes before your Wedding Reception. They even have their own traditional Fijian Wedding Chapel, with high ceilings and beautiful stained-glass windows, for a more traditional Wedding Ceremony. Their Wedding Policy makes sure only 1 Wedding takes place each day, (none on Sundays), and they take great care to create a memorable and special day for each couple. In our opinion, Tokoriki is an ideal resort for those clients looking for that very special wedding, honeymoon or romantic vacation location, possibly only bettered by a very select few luxury all-inclusive resorts, but without their luxury price tag!
This is an Adults only resort and as such, children under 12 are not allowed. They do allow children from 13 years and up, but due to the ambiance of this resort, we not necessarily recommend it, and feel their are other properties in Fiji more suitable for youngsters and teens.

Fiji has one of the best air service connections of any of the islands in the Pacific.
Fiji Airways ( was Air Pacific ), Fiji's national carrier, provides a daily service to Sydney and Auckland and up to six times a week to Los Angeles ( will be daily by Autumn 2013 ), and frequent flights to Brisbane and Melbourne. Air Pacific also provides regular services to the neighbouring island nations of Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, Kiribati and the Solomon Islands. Further afield it operates twice weekly flights to Hong Kong.
Korean Air operate three flights a week between Seoul and Nadi. On the southbound flights from Seoul a direct connection can be made off Korean Air's daily London-Seoul flight. However, on the return flight, a night stop will be required in Seoul, as the flight timings do not permit a same day connection.
Air New Zealand operates daily to/from Auckland with connections to its double-daily flights to London, either via Los Angeles or Hong Kong. Air New Zealand also operates a codeshare arrangement with Air Pacific providing seats on their non-stop Nadi-Los Angeles flights.
Virgin Australia operate a regular service from/to Sydney, with connections to many other Australian cities.
Air Calin operate twice a week between Noumea and Nadi.
Air Niugini operate a twice a week service from and to Port Moresby via Honiara to Nadi.
Pacific Sun, Fiji Airways's domestic airline subsidiary, operates an extensive domestic flight network covering all the countries main islands, with at least a daily service. The main northern islands receive at least two flights a day and some times more, the less populated islands get a restricted service, so sometimes a night stop in Nadi or Suva may be required when connecting between some of the less popular islands.
A number of the outer Island Resorts operate their own dedicated daily flights, to transfer their clients from Nadi to the resort and back, using either fixed wing commuter aircraft, seaplanes or helicopters. Further details of these will be given at the time we provide our quotation.
